Thread: What did you do to the eggs given by NPCs in game?

Get on a cycle path, cycle up and down it for 5-10 minutes. Then slap an exp share on it and level the heck outta it.

Well, I usually stuff my eggs in the PC, but in HeartGold, I raised my togepi to a togekiss, and in White I caught the Volcarona from the ruins in the desert, and I already have a typhlosion named MAKO as my main fire type (as well as a mudkip named KORRA and serperior named BOLIN). I usually hatch baby pokemon for trade.

I hatch them and, unless it's a Pokemon that evolves via hapiness, I box them.

I raised my Smoochum from the odd egg in Crystal and I have a togekiss and lucario from the plati-eggs.

I hatch them of course! When I got my first game (white version), I was extremely surprised when I recieved my first pokemon egg. I thought the egg was set on a timer, so I just went around doing random stuff waiting for it to hatch. The most epic moment with that egg was when it hatched right before the final gym battle. The whole time I was praying for a Zorua, but when it came out as a Larvesta, I was all like "wtf is this?" I considered putting it in my box, but after thinking for a while, I gave it a chance at life and decided to train it from birth...

...Little did I know that it would evolve into a Sun God and become one of my favorite pokemon.

I would hatch them, nickname them, battle with them a bit, then box them. Except for Togepi, I raise Togepi to become a Togetic then evolve it when I get a Shiny stone.

The only ones I used were both in Platinum. Believe it or not, Togekiss made an amazing Flying-type.

The only ones I've ever bothered raising were Togepi and Riolu.

All of them I just hatched and evolved to their final form. I've never used any Pokemon given as an egg in my team.

Usually, i hatch them,then box them, then raise them postgame. I did use Togepi in HG and he was great as a Togekiss.

I usually just hatch them, then train them a little, then box them eventually and forget about them.

Although I am doing a Nuzlocke on HG right now, and I killed the Togepi and had to release it :(

Nah, on a more serious note, I tend not to use them. Togepi was meh. Still didnt use it though

I mostly just hatch them then box them. Exceptions being Togepi which I've used several times during various playthroughs of G/S/C/HG/SS respectively and the odd egg recieved from the daycare couple in crystal that hatches into a baby pokemon, mine hatched into a shiny Pichu, which I used and raised in game to be a Raichu.
