Miltank look easy in comparison!
Funny, you're the broken one, but I'm the only one who needed saving...
Currently craving those from the unplayed. (Matthew from Fire Emblem 7, Shinjiro Aragaki from Persona 3, Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4... among others... *sigh* Not that it matters much to anyone but me, really.)
On my first run of diamond (and the first time playing pokemon period) Roark was the hardest (didn't help that I picked Chimchar). Even a year or so later, his Cranidos wiped out my team, even with having Piplup as my starter. I think the main reason this kept happening was his headbutts flinching my pokemon and getting critical hits. In hind sight, I hadn't trained that much either.
Tate and Liza. The fact that it was a double battle just made it worse...
I have claimed the Spell Tag and Kasib Berry, along with Adaptability and Shadow Ball. I have also claimed Gastly.
If you think Nintendo need to sue PETA up the ass for making Pokemon Black and Blue, copy and paste this into your sig.
She stands out because she gave me so much trouble as a kid, something no one else did. I had tough battles, sure, but Whitney caught me completely off guard and when you're little, that isn't fun at all. Lots of battles may have been harder but I saw them coming. Whitney was the third gym leader and yet was absurdly strong.
Gen1: Misty and Sabrina(Yellow Version)
Gen 2: Whitney
Gen 3: Norman
Gen 4: Fantina (Diamond and Pearl only)
Gen 5: Lenora
Sabrina in Pokémon Stadium. That Alakazam was unbeatable (that, and the fact that Psychic was extremely broken back in Gen I and also the fact that critical hits depended on how fast the Pokémon was, and Alakazam, being a fast Pokémon, got critical hits like 7 out of 10 times). Not even Chansey could stop that f*ck3r.
I am ashamed of saying this, but...
Cilan in Black. :| Because I just refused to catch a freaking useless Pidove to beat that damn Pansage and I didn't want to get a Pansear. I insisted on beating Pansage with my Oshawott but I just couldn't. I had to go get the Pansear.
Clay. Definitely. He knocked out so much of my party in Black 2 with that Excadrill. Thankfully I won in the end, but sheesh.
Lenora came a close second.

I recall Misty's Starmie giving me so many problems when I was a kid. Ugh. To this day, I refuse to get a Starmie or Staryu.
Other than that...I don't remember much. Ironically, I never had problems with the usual Gyms listed here. I did have issues with Winona for a ridiculously stupid amount of time, but since then...not much. Maylene was annoying as hell, but not tough. Oh, the Cheri Berries that were eaten that day...
I think that after the Winona fiasco, I started picking my types better and that's why I don't have scary Gym stories.
NOW LORELEI OH GOD. But this isn't the E4 thread, so I'll just leave and say: "Winona was a pain the neck."
Elesa in nimbassa mainly because her emolgas kept dogging my pokemons attacks with double team and her emolgas also kept paralizyn my pokemon then after all that work came zebstrika which finnished my tiered pokemon with wild charge.Whitney in HG was hard to mainly because of her milktanks hp and attract which destroyed my golbat and my bayleaf.

Clair, her Kingdra was a bitch.
Whitney and her bowine bitch... hate her!
I don't use "uber" Pokemon, I don't calculate stat values, I don't use cheating devices, I don't breed my way to perfection, and I don't care about natures. I catch my Pokemon the way they are, and treat them like individuals instead of brainless drones. If you use this philosophy, copy & paste this into your signature
