VG Weekly Poll #18 Favourite Ice-type trainer?

Welcome to the eighteenth instalment in the Video Games Forum's new weekly series of polls!

Centered around the Pokemon series of video games, these polls will be based on the various different aspects of the popular video game franchise. Every Monday, a Video Games staff member will post a new poll that'll remained stickied up on top of the forum. Suggestions for polls and questions can be sent to Joshawott, and they could possibly used for new polls (credit will be given, of course).

With that out of the way, here is the poll: Favourite Ice-type trainer? December is upon us! The time of year where we get into that festive mood, where instead of ice being an annoyance it becomes an endearing sign of the presents and warm hugs to come. There have been numerous prominent Ice-type trainers throughout the series' history, ranging from Gym Leaders to members of the Elite 4 - but which is your favourite? This poll was partially suggested by Destiny Queen.

Candice has a nice gym design with snowballs, and I picked her cuz I like her platinum team with frolass and abomasnow - plus, her rematch team is epic.

And she wears short skirts even when it's freezing XDD

Brycen is in second place for me cuz I like his traditional design XDD

Candice for having the best team (her Platinum team that is).

Lorelei is my favourite Ice type trainer and one of my favourite Elite Four members :D

I remember the days back in Yellow when I first challenged her at the Pokemon League. It was awesome!

Brycen is my favourite, the ice-cool man of few words. He may be very easy to defeat, (As is Pryce. I sometimes wonder if they're the same person, with one of the two time-traveling to the present day to meet their older/younger self) but I prefer that to the extremely annoying battles that Lorelei, Glacia and especially Platinum Candice give their challengers.

Brycen. I love the fact that you don't have to hear some long, drawn out speech before you battle him and the man is much like the type he chooses: he is as cool as Ice.

Pryce. I see him as the Johto couterpart to Blaine, both of them being the old wise gym leader.

Also, his main pokemon Piloswine/Mamoswine is my favorite Ice-type pokemon.

Candice.

City? Awesome.
Gym challenge? Took me four hours Awesome.
Team? Awesome.
Personality? That's right, awesome.


She has to come back in some game or other.

Pryce. I've always imagined him as a patient and experienced trainer who can show young,cocky trainers a thing or two and beat them with ease.

But it isn't a real ice team due to Slowbro's presence, so she gets a score off for that reason. I blame the lack of diversity on ice types.

Pryce, because he seems like a quiet badass to me. And his HG/SS outfit is pretty cool (no pun intended).

/me is shocked to see that Brycen has so many votes :O

But for mine, I go with Candice. Her team actually game my Torterra and the crew a challenge in Platinum. Plus she's hot, yo.
