Thread: VG Weekly Poll #14 Who is your favourite regional Professor?

Hard choice...I'll have to go with Oak, as he is the original and does so much! Research, radio show, making and improving Pokedexes, he does a lot. Close second comes Professor Juniper, as she's a female professor (which is new), you see her do lots of research and she takes a very active role in the plot. Also, because;

I voted Rowan because he's the first professor to actually do stuff in the story outside giving a Pokemon. The way he had you, Barry, and Dawn spilt up to go the lakes was BOSS.

My favorite has to be Prof. Rowan becaus of his personality and the fact that he is actually doing some research unlike a certain professor from kanto who does poetry in the anime. Besides, I think we had enough of Oak. I think he is a bit overrated and hogs the spotlight and the fact that the meme that refers to him is extremely annoying,

Professor Juniper for being bright, bubbly, un-professor-like, helpful, and being the only female professor in the games.

the gen I fanboy in me couldnt resist. juniper/rowan tie for a close second.

1st Place- Professor Juniper
2nd Place- Professor Rowan
3rd Place- Professor Oak
4th Place- Professor Elm
5th Place- Professor Birch

I like Professor Elm, actually. I dunno, something about the slightly dorky personality he got, and the way he seems to look up to and admire Professor Oak just makes the guy likable. Plus, he's the only person in the entirety of pokemon history to realize that pokemon do the horizontal (or vertical or diagonal or whatever, depending on the species involved) tango to make eggs.

Mine is Proffesor Juniper because other than Proffessor Ivy shes the only Femal Professor

Elm.
I really like his personality :)

Rowan because he's just cool like that. Loved him since he made fun of Team Galactic in that sophisticated way of his. Elm is pretty cool though.

Birch, because of field work, and also, he seems like such a bro.

Juniper's in a close second, as she's the most likeable.

Professor Rowan is my favorite. I love that old man. He's so, like others has said, sophisticated, but yet he's gentle. But he can be stern, too. I thought it was also interesting that he doesn't have any family revealed.
I also love Professor Birch, too. Birch is just too funny. x3. Having to save him from a poochyena (in emerald, which i believe is what i had to save him from) is just hilarious. xD.
But Prof. Rowan is my favorite. He's just cool. x3. I was actually worried, for a second, that everybody here would of voted for Oak, but I'm shocked to see that Rowan got into some more posts then Oak. ;D
I feel bad for Birch though. Poor guy. DX. It's okay Birch, I like you better then Elm, Oak, and Juniper, so at least you know you're number two. ♥

Professor Juniper is charming, hilarious, and seems like a fun person to talk to. More so than the other professors. She felt more real to me.
