Thread: VG Weekly Poll #13 Creepiest Pokémon resting place?

Lavender. I think the reason it's a popular spot for creepypasta is because it's a creepy place by itself. Not even FRLG's Lavender can reach the feel of RGBY's Lavender.

Well, it's the only place in the entire franchise where you meet real ghosts (not Ghost-type Pokémon; real ghosts)

Lavender Town, the overall feel of the place is unnerving.

I'd choose lavender town, but i'd count Mt. Pyre as quite scary. There's only 3 reasons for Lavender though, 1. The music which is so freaky (In R/B/Y), 2. The possessed people and 3. The whole thing about LTS and the creepypastas. However, Mt. Pyre actually has a slight push because of the look of it, even the fact it's in the water adds creepiness

Definitely Lavender Town. Nothing can beat the original, especially when it has so many rumors/memes behind it.

Mt Pyre for me, just thinking about a mountain of the dead with ominous fog makes my skin crawl.

Lavender town in second place, I might need no explanation of why.

Celestial Tower, because it has aliens.

I can't really understand how you'd be scared of the House of Memories, and the Lost Tower is just out of place IMO, why not put it near the marsh, you know, it would add to the horror.

Where's Memorial Pillar? Lavender Town is still creepiest, tho.

I found Lavender Town the creepiest because it just seems as if the whole town is about death or talking about creepy white hands and stuff, not just the resting place of the Pokemon.

The others (minus the House of Memories) aren't in a town or city, but out on a route, so it isn't as if anything and everything around it is particularly eerie.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Lavender Town, but I find Mt. Pyre to be the creepiest resting place. The music just screams "DEATH AND DESPAIR". Haha. And the music on the outside of Mt. Pyre sounds so intense. Like you're in a rush with little time left, which is fitting because it's true.

Still though, I would freaking love to live in Lavender Town. xD

It was definitely Lavender Town for me. The music was creepy and I remember being pretty shocked when I first saw the Ghosts that I couldn't even battle against. The Marowak ghost was also pretty scary and rather tragic as well.

Lavender, mostly because of the rather complex story behind it.
The 8-bit soundtrack alone is enough to give the average kid chills down his spine.
