Run around a patch of grass until it shakes, most of the time it will be Audino, who gives out a lot of experience.

Yes, I'll use the Audino strategy too. A great, fun way of training my weaker Pokemon. Also, EXP is now distributed more evenly, giving more EXP to the weaker Pokemon. A great way to catch up!

When you get to Chargestone Cave, Prof. Juniper gives you a lucky egg. After that point I make sure whatever I'm training has it equipped. If I'm training a group, I give it to the one on the top of the list as I rotate them around.

edit: I replace it with a type-boosting item for major battles, of course.

^^ What Soran said. They just hand you a Lucky Egg, and by keeping that equipped to whatever was in the leading slot of my party, I never really needed to train much outside of what I came across naturally (to be fair, one of my 'mons was a trade, but still).

Exp Share + Exp Share + Lucky Egg + Audino grinding = levels in minutes

This is the method I use. Works pretty well, if my party of late lv 40s, early lv 50s of 'mon before the 8th badge have anything to say about it

Going with few Pokémon as long as I can. Specially since the game post-E4 is long enough and you don't become champion after first E4 challenge. Not only 4 Pokémon will grow faster than 6, also if you take underleveled Pokémon later and give them an Exp.Share (or a Lucky Egg, having them first in party and switch before first turn), they will grow even faster because of new exp. mechanic.

For example, I faced N with only 4 pokémon. (5 including Zekrom) and a traineé.
