no, sadly.
I loved Dive. Awesome out of battle HM.

Awww, :( Last time I saw the female character, it seemed like she had a ponytail, I may have just seen wrong.
Nope, you have seen correctly. There is a thread some where here where some one made a close up sprite of the female character.
Sorry i can't post it here... I don't know how to do that... Hate technology.
It is called "a little sprite i made" on page two...
I don't calculate stat values, nor do I care about natures. I just catch my Pokemon the way they are, and play the game normally. If you agree copy and paste this into your sig.
Lol thats okay. I'm just wondering how the new pokemon will look, because I really hate the 4th gen -.-

I'm worried about that as well.
That, and actually seeing the game in motion (as i'm sure many other people are as well.)
I doesn't look like they worked out some of the kinks with the 2D sprites, and the 3D lay out of the game.
I actually liked some of the pokemon in gen. 4. It was some of the pokes in the RSE line that i was questionable about. Hope they don't screw it up this time..

Re: Water Routes: I was absolutely ecstatic when learning about Hoenn water routes. I thought, finally, there's a region comprised as half land/half water. It really set the island-hopping feel.
Re: Character sprites: I can't imagine 3D models for the sprites. Maybe if they were emulating the cel-shaded style of Phaton Hourglass Link. But 3D models, especially human ones, look clunky.

It's fine. I don't even understand what I say more than half the time...
What does cel-shaded mean? Is it a certain style for graphics?

Hmm... that'd actually be awesome (meaning the Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass style). It'd involve completely retooling the sprites and look of Pokemon, however I think it'd look pretty sweet in the end.
Maybe we'll finally get that on the 3DS *sigh*. I agree, though, the "human"-looking 3-D models tend to look clunky on anything but the most overpowered hardware. And overpowered the DS is not. Cel-shaded graphics would be ideal for an anime-themed game, though.
I just noticed that the battle screen is 3D, as in the platforms have a certain look to them that suggest that.

I sure was funner back then, possibly even stupider....
I mean even for really powerful hardware. For instance, the character models in Pokemon Battle Revolution are 'Pokemon'-y in style, but I don't like how they look in 3D. It's all too plastic and shiny; the clothes, the eyes, the colors. Now try downgrading that to a handheld. Even the PSP can jitter when using weird polygon models.
Maybe a cel-shaded game would circumvent that; maybe not.
