I dont think we're getting BW3. People had very high expectations for the sequels I think. I dont really think there needs to be yet another game in Unova. Id rather see Gen 6 than a BW3 to be honest.
..........If the anime have any indication on the condition of this generation, then B2/W2 would be the last entry for this one. Seeing that Nintendo is pressuring GameFreak and the Pokémon Company to create new versions to boost the sale of their 3DS, I say that we have nothing left to do for this gen.

I think one sequel is enough and BW3 will be dragging out the story more than necessary. I wouldn't mind if it was somehow carried to Gen 6. Maybe a rogue Plasma person re(re)forms another bad team in the 6th gen region. It worked for Team Rocket, but this would only work if the next region was next to or near Unova. It would be nice if the next region and Unova had a bit of "buddy-buddy" stuff like Kanto-Johto.
True, but they've always been a relatively safe company taking few risks. B2W2 is their first BIG risk in a very, very long time. So it comes down to, will they take another risk, or play it safe? I honestly think they're going to play it safe and go with their regular generation formula.
If they keep with the regular generation formula, I can see a new generation after B2W2, with the Ruby/Sapphire remake being in that generation rather than this generation. Maybe. I don't know. This is just silly speculation.

I'm not a human, I'm a cat, okay.
Game Freak took the safer bet this time since they were considering dual releases without it being sequels.
I've got a pretty wild idea. Instead of having straight RS remakes, have them take place later on and do the Neo aqua/magma thing. And somewhere post game you could find Ghetsis having given up in Unova, and just starting an evil plot in Hoenn. Not far enough along to be the main focus, but just far enough to have discovered or made a new DNA link item that can fuse the 3 dragons into the original dragon. Even if he doesn't have access to the dragons, it wouldn't surprise me for him still have the ambition to find a way to fuse them before he actually gets them. You could have a memory link feature that has you BW and BW2 PC give you the3 dragons so you could fuse them just for the sake of having the original dragon obtainable. Basically have the OD be like Regigigas but with a little bit of story to go with it rather than jjust showing up with the golems. I know its a bit shaky of an idea, but I think it could work one way or another.
Ah so the Triad is pretty much loyal to him, and he has nothing else up his sleeve. Guess that covers things, but I'm still iffy on the generation being done. Somethings not right with the jive of things. The anime's gonna be over by January in terms of the league. It could be 6 months of World Tournament, but that's not the point. The point is B2W2 is gonna to have to carry the series for a whole year and 3 months if they return to September releases, and the games seem to be pretty much over with when it comes to in-game events and what not. It would be nice to at least have something between now and Gen 6, even if it means having too many games out in the same time frame.
But that is simply not a good reason for Game Freak to release another game in such little time, especially if they are planning to release Generation VI next year, which seems quite obvious. It is a mystery why the anime has rushed through Unova, but technically speaking the World Tournament should give the writers enough material to work with for around 9 months if they are prepared to bring back some of the old gym leaders. One possibility is to have Ash cycle through the old regions so that he can participate in every regional World Tournament cup.
Its not enough of a reason, sure I understand that. Sorry that I wasn't so clear, but its not a solution I believe they will carry out. Gen 6 is gonna be out by next year sure, but till then its gonna be a much rougher process then other generation shifts.
What about the "Plasbad" guy?I don't believe that any of the Team Plasma grunts stand out, anyway.
Team Plasbad will triumph!

I think that B2W2 are the final Gen V games.
My prediction is this:
1. First Gen VI silhouette, titles, and tidbits of info : Sometime between January 2013 - March 2013
2. Japanese release: June 2013 - August 2013
3. Release for US, Europe, Australia, etc.: October 2013 - December 2013
Another prediction in my mind: around 100 new pokemon. And of course they'd be on 3DS. Probably also get a new 3DS Pokedex and Dream Radar like game.
I also think that RSEmakes will be made during Gen VI. Either 2014 or 2015, I'm not sure.
Those are my official predictions and I have claimed them :D
Hey, it's not the first time things get unfinished at the end of a generation. Cyrus and Giovanni's fate are still unclear -eventually Cyrus will leave Distortion World, and for Giovanni is the Tohjo event-. FR/LG left the enigma of Giovanni's son, revealed via event in HGSS. This time the whole BW story was deeper than previous Pokémon games, deep enough to release true sequels into the same generation. I don't think there will be BW3, BUT either:
- They'll release a "third" game (third in the traditional Pokémon sense, as Platinum, Emerald, etc), tying up loose ends, OR
- Gen VI will complete this plot with a complete new set of games, maybe placed somewhere, but Unova being accesible somehow.
I tend to think the second choice, because:
- If the Original Dragon is a different Pokémon rather than a new Kyurem's forme, it will be in Gen VI for sure. So the original Genesect, that I think it will be a totally different Pokémon rather than a "forme", the same way as Mew and Mewtwo are different Pokémon. Tying Legendaries from different generations is not something new (Regigigas says hi).
- As The_Doctor said, it's been enough for Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott. I don't hate any of Unova starters, but four games featuring them is too much. Also, I want to use a Fire not-Fighting starter!!
