I would love to hear more live recordings in the soundtrack like the BW2 title screen. An overall classical-sounding soundtrack would make sense anyway because Kalos is based on France/ "old world" Europe.

And I second the remixed low HP themes for important battles.

So... considering the above, is this thread closed?

I would enjoy having lots of orchestral music throughout the Kalos region. I'd like for the main Battles (the champion, the villain team leader) to have some pretty intense orchestral music. Throw in as many violins and piano as possible.

I was just thinking... Instead of hearing the same trainer battle/wild battle music ALL THE TIME, what if they had different variations, or even possibly completely different themes for like, different trainer classes, or different areas? Cuz seriously, even if the trainer theme is outstanding, listening to it 8,000 times makes it... Mediocre.

If GF decides to make orchestra the basis of the soundtrack, i prefer they go with half-orchestrata half-pop, the weather trio battle theme from HGSS is exactly what i think the music of X and Y should be like.

They should keep the Low HP theme for regular wild Pokemon and trainer battles, but disable it for Gym Leaders/Elite Four/Legendaries/other significant battles with special music. I've also always thought they should have different themes (or different variations of the same theme) for Wild Pokemon depending on the location (grass routes, water, caves, etc.) or Trainers depending on the class (maybe about 3 or 4 different variations total encompassing all the regular classes).

I agree, I doesn't think fully orchestrated music fits the series mood well. Mixing orchestral and modern instruments for an orchestrated rock-pop soundtrack would be ideal in my opinion.

How about different variations in wild and trainer battle themes in each section of Kalos?

Definitely don't think they should go full electronic like they did with Black/White. While I enjoyed those soundtracks, it just wouldn't fit with Kalos.

Upbeat orchestrated with pop undertones (what did I just write) sounds good. Though I highly doubt we'll get fully orchestrated music instead of synths.

Sure, there probably won't be any fully orchestrated music, but the 3DS can handle it. I WANT AN ORCHESTRA!

I've read that you can change the BGM for multiplayer battles. I saw it from a reasonably reputable site but has anyone seen it as well?

I've read that as well, it's a neat idea.

I hope they do more legendary Pokemon remixes like they did in HG/SS for the Suicine, Raikou & Entei. Each one has a slight alteration to its battle theme which made them more unique.

I really want to know more about the soundtrack, music represents 40% or even more of a game to me. IT IS SO IMPORTANT, give me a soundtrack better than Generation V's, pretty please? There are some pretty awesome tracks in Generation V, to be honest, the battle themes are among the best in the series. Well, except for the Gym Leader battle theme, which is the worst, but the city/town/routes themes sounded pretty bad and uninspired, too much techno going on (listen to Driftveil and Nimbasa awful themes). I am really really hoping for more soft and easy-listening tracks, like the ones from Generation III and IV.
