Something interesting about Lugia

Coronis from SPPF reports that the Pokedex entry for Lugia says that whenever it flaps it's wings, a storm brews and does not stop for 40 days. In the Bible, the storm that Noah's Ark sailed in lasted for "40 days and 40 nights". I severely doubt this is a coincidence, but don't get me wrong- I think it's cool how the myths in D/P relate to real world religion.

What's your opinion about this, and about similar things in Pokemon? (Such as how Kyogre/Groudon parallel Leviathan/Behemoth, how Alseus creates the world, ect.)

That's a very cool find. I like how DP are taking a much different approach than the previous games to myths, legends, religion and the like. It certainly gives it a more.....I guess fufilling is the term.....feeling.

It probably isn't a coincidence, which I don't particularly mind, but it might cause a little bit of ruckus with the retarded conservatives and rednecks down here. Which game Pokedex entry was that in?
