    I just breed a litwick and it has the nature and ability I wanted so I went to the gear station guy and had him look at it. He said its superior potential and "its best potential lies in its defense, its sp atk is equally good, its sp def is good as well well its speed stat is also good. It can't be better in that regard". Does this mean that this litwick has 4 perfect ivs?

    Stats are recalculated at the end of battles in Gen V and upon leveling up in prior generations

    I think it does.

    I think it does too since he wouldn't say they're all the same value if they weren't and he only mentions the best stat. Thanks I got real lucky with my breeding. I'll level it up and check the ivs via serebii's calculator.

    I'd recommend MetalKid's because it takes what the IV man says into account and it makes it easier to a get more accurate reading.

    Hey, I have a question.
    A few months ago I got my Pokémon Black Version, claimed my legit Victini from the Wi-Fi event & caught it in the game.
    Now i would like to start a new game but i'm afraid i'll lose my Victini, so my question is:
    When i restart a game and i have claimed an event will the green guy still be in the PokéMart so I can claim my object/egg?
    Thanks in advance.

    I've heard through some few sources that DW abilities can only be passed down if the parent in question is a female. Are male DW Pokemon (or the relic Darmanitan) unable to pass down special abilities?

    That's correct. Even with a female, it's a only a small chance of passing it down.

    Ugh, everything's made all poignant with females only. Does the male parent having a DW ability even affect the chances of it being passed down?

    What Hurristat said. You'll probably want to trade the Victini into another game and trade UT back in after you've reset it.

    I have a question;
    If a male Tyranitar with Fire Punch from GEN IV bred with a ditto in Gen V would the resulting Larvitar have Fire Punch?

    Thanks to King of Jesus (Neodark) for the banner!

    no - fire punch isn't an egg move for larvitar

    you can still teach it fire fang (inferior i know) or even fire blast (special attack but still packs a wallop with no EV investment)

    if you're going all out attacker go fire fang (especially if you have dragon dance) but if you're going defensive you could use a -speed nature with fire blast
