This is correct. The cloned Pokemon will be identical in every fashion; you won't be able to tell the difference between the original and its clone.

I've done this many times and I've never had any side effects, so your Pokemon, originals and cloned, will be safe. I would recommend that once you're finished cloning them to save your game and take out the AR. Try your best not to play while it's in your DS cartridge slot. It's never happened to me personally but I've heard of problems occurring when the AR is left in for too long while not being used. Otherwise you should have no concerns.

@Primetroid - This seems like more of a simple question thing, so I've merged your thread with the Gen V Simple Questions thread.

I'm playing Black and I want to hatch a Chikorita with Leech Seed and Giga Drain. I know Chikorita can learn Leech Seed, but what about Giga Drain? Is there anyway Chikorita can learn Giga Drain in Gen. V? I would appreciate learning it in Gen. V rather than teaching it with TM19 in Gen. IV and transferring it to my Black.

There's no way for Chikorita to learn Giga Drain in Gen V (or Bayleef/Meganium) besides being transferred from Gen IV, if I am correct (it had it removed as a TM in gen V, and it can't learn it via level-up or egg move).

    I'm quite confused by this.

I just battled someone over random matchup who had two Lapras and at least two of his Pokemon choice scarfed. The battle was triple,no Zoroark on team preview and the two Lapras were out at the same time.

So my question is: is this cheating of some sort or I'm missing on something. And if it's cheating, how it wasn't filtered by random matchup?

Perhaps one of the Lapras was a Pokémon that used transform?

Edit: Wait, how do you know that he had two choice scarves?

@Primetroid If you are worried, trade the Pokemon to someone familiar with AR and Pokegen, have them clone and trade back the cloned and original, as many as you like. That way your Cart has no traces of AR use (Not that I'm sure there would unless you do something silly, but people can be paranoid) and you have all the Pokemon you need.

@PkmnGreen Any Pokemon with Transform would have to come in to the battle and take a turn before changing. Unless of course it had the Imposter Ability which is currently unreleased, not that Im sure if the WiFi Random Matchup checks for unreleased DW Abilities.

No,none of his Pokemon transformed. Also I'm assuming they were scarfed since they were faster than my quite speedy team while I had Tailwind up on my side. And his attacks weren't priority ones either.

Default Can't seem to get ExtremeSpeed Dratini in HGSS, and I got the quiz right

I cannot seem to get the ExtremeSpeed Dratini in HGSS whatsoever, and I answered the Elder's quiz correctly multiple times.

When I first played SS, my friend and I didn't get the Dratini, but we both went in the den with a full team, so we figured that's what we did wrong.

Well after restarting my game, I went to the den, making sure I left an open space in my team. I went to do the elder's test, and got it right. I even checked on Bulbapedia to double check if I was right.

But I did not get the Dratini. I've tried talking to everyone, leaving and re-entering, but I still can't seem to receive it. I've got the quiz right, have an open spot in my team, what on earth am I doing wrong?

I apologize for not posting my question in this thread, I didn't figure it would be considered a simple question.

    Anyway, I eventually got it.

    Yo.

I'm looking for quick opinions on a nice Victini and Arceus build. I have an offensive plan for both of them (nothing concrete), but I was wondering what you guys do with them?
Like, the natures, move-pools and general strategies you use with those two.

I've just gotten into playing with rng abuse, only done a bit so far and I'm mainly into this for collecting and trading, especially like to trade for events.

My question is what guys would be best to offer as flawless/shiny for the sake of trading? As in what pokemon tend to be the most desirable?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

The most desirable flawless Pokemon are Ditto since people can use them for passing IVs onto anything. As of shinies that's the matter of personal preferences, but I've seen shiny Eevee,Charmanders,Beldum,Zorua etc. being quite popular. Basically any shiny whose colors look better than regular colors should price high.
