Got me a Shiny Grumpig in the grass outside Reversal Mountain the other day. Grumpig is..... not my favorite Pokemon, so it'll probably rot in a box forever, but shinies are always appreciated. ^^

I found and caught two shiny Cottonee at school today... the first one appeared during lunch, and I ran into the second one on the bus ride home. I evolved the second one. I seriously love the Shiny Charm. <3 I still want a shiny Whirlipede, though...

Today I was able to chain a lot of Pichus in the Trophy Garden. I catched 9 of them shiny n_n.

I got traded a shiny Chikorita, which is now a shiny Meganium on Black.
On Ruby, I randomly encountered a shiny Koffing; took me a minute to realise it was shiny, but once I did, I started chucking my balls :D

A couple nights ago I ran into a random shiny Boldore in Clay Tunnel. Boldore is one of my favorite shinies, so I was really happy about that :D This makes my 8th shiny overall and my first shiny in Black 2, and the first time I've found a shiny since my Swanna in April. God it felt good to finally get a shiny again.

I already own a Lucario (out of the egg from Riley, Pearl), Drifblim (soft reset, Pearl), Zigzagoon (random encounter, but i was looking for one, Sapphire), Bidoof (surprise random encounter, boyfriends Pearl), Typhlosion (soft reset, HeartGold) and Meganium (soft reset, SoulSilver)

Right now I'm soft reseting for a Latias on White 2 and Musharna on Black :)
At about 300 SRs for both, though I'm not counting officially yet because I need to find my calculator first! It's around here somewhere...

Anyways, good luck to everyone looking for a shiny, and congrats to those who just happen to have one pop up!

See this is a proper shiny. Loved the Video man. Nice to see a proper shiny fight. Lol they always a mega stress.

My wife just ran into a shiny Basculin in BW2 after about 55 hours. In her last game she found a Woobat in Wellspring Cave after only 10. She's way luckier than I am; My first two shinies in GenV were a Metang (but I already had a silver Metagross) and a Solrock that used SelfDestruct on the first round of the battle (Quick Ball failed).

After years of pouring hours of my days into Pokemon, I recently returned to it, and met and caught my first (non-Red Gyarados) shiny! A Roselia, in Platinum, while IV-training my Gardevoir.

The DS promptly ran out of batteries.

I ran into a shiny Pelipper in the wild in Platinum when I was looking for a Mantyke. I later traded it for my friend's shiny Roselia!

I just caught a shiny Palpitoad on my Black 2 outside of Pinwheel Forest. That makes my second Gen V shiny, both on the same game w/the same save file. I'm beginning to think it's good luck :)
