The Shiny Encounters Thread

Raticate, Eevee > Leafeon, Magikarp > Gyarados, Heatran

I got a shiny Pachirisu in Pearl (using the PokeRadar), and a shiny Weepinbell and Gyarados in SoulSilver (the latter was not the one from the Lake of Rage). Unfortunetly they all have sucky natures, so they'll just rot away in the PC.

In my whole Pokémon gaming life, I've met only two shinies and caught them too.
They were:

Bidoof was my first shiny, in Platinum.
And Audino in White 2.

(You did notice it right, BOTH of them are the worst ones. ._.)

I was breeding a Delibird today trying to get a certain nature and the first egg that hatched turned out to be shiny. This is only my third shiny ever (fourth if we count the shiny Skuntank I got in a trade in the GTS but I don't count that one) after my shiny Audino and shiny Golbat.

Ok, the shinies I have caught myself are:

Budew (Platinum, chained)
Beldum (Platinum, chained)
Electrike (Platinum, chained)
Zubat (Platinum, chained)
Ralts (Platinum, chained)
Houndour (Platinum, chained)
Electabuzz (Platinum, chained)
Sneasel (Platinum, chained)
Vulpix (SoulSilver, random encounter) - I was literally screaming when I found it, my favorite pokemon, shiny and with a modest nature?!?
Gastly (SoulSilver, random encounter) - Caught in the Safari Zone using my very last Safari Ball. Lolwut?
Red Gyarados (DUH)
Klink (Black, random encounter)
And of course the Pikachu-colored Pichu and the shiny legendary beasts.

I'm also getting the free shiny Gible and Haxorus from B2 soon.

I've been traded many shiny pokemon in the past but I don't really count them, except maybe a shiny Eevee I got from a person I trust.

About a month ago I was breeding Deerling and, apparently, did not realize that Deerling shinies look no different than normal ones, and that the star next to the symbols indicates it being a shiny. And I accidentally released it because it didn't have the stats I wanted....ooooooo I was so mad at myself!

I got a Lunatone last month.

The ironic part, is that I was trying to avoid wild encounters when this shiny Lunatone came out.

Every Pokémon trainer remembers his/her first shiny. Personally, mine was a shiny Minun in Ruby version (he's in my PC in Black 2 now).

So, what was your first shiny Pokémon you caught? If you don't have one, what shiny would you like to have? :D

My very first shiny? Hm, it was something. In the remake of red version (fire red) I recieved an omnyte fossil that when restored was shiny! He's in my Black version...I think... xD

My friend found my very first shiny. She played my Platinum game for 5 minutes and encountered a shiny Marril!
Friend:Um, his Marril has strange colors.

I've only ever had one shiny encounter which was unintentional if you exclude the Red Gyarados. It was on Diamond and I was heading to Jubilife City, I ran into a Shiny Shinx Level 4 and even though I wasn't aware of what a Shiny Pokemon was at the time I still had a feeling it was worth catching which I did and trained it to a Level 60 Luxray.

The first wild shiny pokemon that I found and caught was a Drowsee from Pokemon gold. It was the very first shiny I ever found besides the red Gyrados. (which doesn't count)

A shiny ekans was my first shiny. Pretty Kool I think.
