Meh, the figurines were kind of lame. I hope it's something that I'd actually use, for example, something to do with the ds.

eH. I want figures because I collect them. They're a lot better than...let's say DS styluses which are usually so big that they're not usable..

Yeah, same here. I like cute figurines that I can set on my desk or nightstand. But then again, I am a toy collector as well.

I haven't heard a blasted thing about pre-order bonuses, which is a bit surprising. 'Course, I'm just chaffing at the bit to get my hot little hands on Black so the bonus is a moot point on my part, anyway.

I just pre-ordered both Black & White today at Gamestop. I had asked if they had known anything yet as far as a give-a-away, and at this point he said he had no info. He was really helpful though when it came to pre-ordering my strategy guide. They are doing both the normal edition and a collectors edition this time. So I got me the collectors edition.

I hope they have tiny versions of the zekrom and reshiram floats at the thanksgiving day parade. I like little pokemon figurines. :)

Just thinking about that parade reminds me about how funny the announcer people sounded, pronouncing the pokemon names SO DAMN PRECISELY.

Do you think there will even be preorder bonuses? They havent even been announced and its getting close to february. I think if there are bonuses they will be announced soemtime in Early to mid February

I guess, the fan reaction to the Japanese pre-order bonuses was so negative, that TPCi just decided not to spend the money on getting them.

I say a small figurine would please me.

I know there isn't any information on what it is that'll come with the games when you pre-order, but I know when Platinum came out I got it the first day at Toys 'R' Us without pre-ordering. At least around my area I notice kids often go to Gamestop or Best Buy than TRU.

P.S. I'm not really interested in figurines, but I think they look cool. I just wouldn't know where to store it and collectibles tend to clutter in my house.

Well, in Gameplanet (Which is the equivalent of Gamestop in my country), they are giving a lithography as a pre-order bonus. I can't describe what it is exactly. But I've heard it's a piece of art drawn with special inks.

I just pre-ordered Black. I think there won't be a bonus this time.

Mom preorded mine using Amazon.

I preordered White a few days ago through Game, which is usually pretty informed about stuff in my experience and does tend to give some sort of bonus with preorders, but there's been no mention of anything. I'd only really want a little figurine as I collect those and anything else would just sit around being that annoying sort of clutter you don't care about yet don't want to throw away "just because". I'd rather have nothing if they were to say they'd be giving out a clunky stylus or a sound drop/keyring, seriously.

i got a really nice tin with my platinum preorder - i missed out on the figurines for HG/SS as i didn't care for them so just went for the cheapest (trusted) supplier...

i'm holding fire until they start announcing preorder incentives & i'll decide then on where to buy from

Yeah, I was gonna wait for that, too, but I got a little too excited and wanted to get a copy for sure while the money was around. ^^' Game usually gives out figurines with preorders anyway, which is exactly what I'd want. Everywhere I've seen here is asking for £29.99 for it anyway, so price difference doesn't appear to be a problem either.
