Exactly why I absolutely do not want any Pokemon console game launching alongside the WiiU. If they do another console game, then I want them to take their time on it. I do not want another rushed battle sim where the only point is fighting in 3D.

Even the Stadium series felt a lot more entertaining than PBR, and they didn't even have a storyline like Colosseum/XD did.

As for the topic, I'm expecting Gen 6 in 2013. They could have a Wii game as one final send off like BW2 is for the DS, but I'm not holding out for it at this point. Remakes can wait till Gen 6, they shouldn't be in every single gen anyways.

I really like remakes of games, so I'm hoping for them, but I'd also be happy if Gen VI started this year. Also maybe something for the Wii?

I would like to see SRemakes.

The first thing I want: NO RS REMAKES, really, the hype for them has gone too far in my opinion. In Movie 16, I really wish to see a new Pokemon or two from Gen 6 alongside Genesect, and possibly Gen 6 being released at the very end of the year (December, just in time for Christmas).

I wish to see a new "My Pokemon Ranch" for Gen 5, the Platinum Update never came out of Japan (so we're stuck with Land Shaymin and Altered Giratina in our old ones forever), and seeing minis of the Gen 5 Pokemon that didn't appear in Rumble Blast would be interesting and cute to see.

Also, one thing I have been waiting for about 5 years is Mystery Dungeon 3, sure there are those Japan-only Wiiware PMD titles that not many people know of, but they aren't really a legit PMD3, and Explorers of Sky was basically a "third version" much like Emerald and Platinum, yet people continue to label Explorers of Sky as PMD3 when it's like any third version of a Pokemon game, the same, but with more added features, rather than a true, legit sequel like Black and White 2 are.

In regards to the main series, I expect Generation VI's primary pair to be released on the Nintendo 3DS. Also, a Wii U console game (be it like Stadium, Colosseum or PBR) which is compatible with both Gen V and VI.

With spin-offs, I think just about anything could happen. I'd love a new Pokémon Ranger game though.

I would really hope that they would do a gen III remake.

Okay, so, let's make a difference on what do I want and what do I expect.

What do I want: Yet another new Gen V main game. Not a remake, and not a direct sequel.

Completely ridiculous and unfeasible? Yes. But hey, I'd still like the concept of entirely different games that are distant from each other.


What do I expect? Well...

In terms of side-games, I think I know chunsoft enough that they love making thousands of Mystery Dungeon games, so I'd still be expecting one after BW2 are released. So at least that's an old side-game that we'll see.


But most likely, we'll have more different and new side-games. Possibly an RPG (kinda like Coloseum), if they aren't going to do anything more with the main series.

Either Gen VI or RSE remakes. And I guess maybe Ranger 4

Gen III remakes or nothing. 2013 is too early for a new generation.

R/S remakes being released in 2013 (probably June?) and the new generation in 2014 (4 years after Generation V release).

One question. Why do so many people want to rush through Gen. 5 ?

Anything but Generation 6. I don't know why everyone thinks that....

Not really sure. I'm hoping for a 3D arena game if the Wii U has been released by that time, but at the same time I hope not because I'd have to spend a bunch of money just for a Pokémon game XD

I have a feeling Gen VI will be announced, but I don't think we'll get the actual game until 2014 or even later.

June 2013 : RS/E Remakes

Oct 2013 : RS/E Remakes outside Japan


Then announce Gen. VI in early 2014

and resume the Sept/March releases or cont. June/Fall releases
