Thread: Pokemon Tretta? (new arcade game)

What is this game it doesn't seem to play the same as the battrio arcade games it also uses the CREATURES Inc. pokemon models as opposed to the cel shaded models that battrio used it looks like a good pokemon stadium imitator, anyone think this could be ported to the 3DS in the near future?

I'm not sure if it would get ported, since one of the draws of arcades now is playing games you can't play elsewhere, it's why the arcade's been flooded with rythim games, games trying oddball ideas, and many many unported games.

Also, battrio used creatures models/animations, just with cel shading.

Wii U's NFC technology in Pokémon is a worth visiting possibility, but this pretty much stays in the arcades. It seems rather simplistic and feature-light in comparison to Battrio, which is relatively interesting; I sort of doubt they release this as a replacement to the former -- it's still a bit weird to have kids collect another kind of caps after lively expanding Battrio...

I always wonder why Battrio and Tretta never came out outside of Japan, though to be fair, arcade games have been becoming an endangered species ever since the home video game console was invented.
