And many others, Generation 1 has the most of any generation.

For example, Ditto has a boring design but in no way is it a lazy design. This is because while it does look bland, the concept behind it is very interesting.
I disagree with the Ditto example, Ditto actually has a pretty lazy design. I mean, it's a purple blob with a really simple face. Now, it is an interesting Pokemon, but that's not design. Not saying I don't love it.
Design doesn't just mean physical difference which is why I made that distinction. And this belief of mine is a recent one. A while ago, I would have dismissed Pokemon like Ditto and Voltorb as 'lazy' but when I really though about it, its just physical appearance thats weak and the concepts behind them are actually quite interesting.

That said, Pokemon like Electrode (but NOT Voltorb), Muk (but NOT Grimer), Dugtrio (but NOT Diglett), Klinklang and Klang (but NOT Kling) have both Lazy and Boring designs.
I do agree, your terminology just seems to differ from mine. I just think of design as being aesthetics.

In regards to concept, Giratina. The myth that Dialga and Palkia are based on doesn't have a 3rd member. They just slapped it in for a 3rd version profit.

Attack and Defense Forme Deoxys. Attack looks too much like Normal, and Defense is basically Attack with a coat on.

Usually the evolutions of certain Pokemon look too lazy like Vannilish and Vanniluxe.

Mew, Ditto, Grimer, Muk, Eevee, and many other Gen I Pokemon.

Muk, Grimer, Ditto and Voltorb. If it looks like a blob or a ball, then yeah, that's kinda lazy.

I think I said it already, but Blissey. She looks too much like Chansey.

A whole lot of first gen. Pokémon, but the Klink line takes the cake. Its first evo is the same thing with a bigger gear on the back, and the second evo is the same as the previous but with a red spikey ring thing on the bottom. I mean, what.

I'm okay with Klink and Klinklang. It's Klang that I think is lazy.

Not the whole thing, but Golurk's hands each look like a Golett. Then there's Metang and Metagross' limbs. They're Beldum.

Giaru's line looks like a Gen I Pokémon. The evolutions are just bigger versions of the base stage.

A bag of trash is more interesting than a pile of cr*p like Muk... xD

All you have to do is take a quick look at the Gen I Pokemon. Clefable is a stretched Clefairy, Voltorb and Electrode are practically oversized 'Poke Balls', Ivysaur, Charmeleon, and Wartortle are slightly different versions of the original Kanto starters, etc. Also, Gastly is a gas bubble, Haunter is a typical lollipop ghost, Graveler is a bigger Geodude with four extra limbs...

You mean the square bearing the aleph on Golett's chest? What I'd like to know is how that thing splits and ends up on the hands after evolution, not to mention how the straps go from being near the arms to around the ankles and wrists. That seriously confuses me. Maybe there's some sort of significance to it.

But yeah, Metagross. When I looked at it while battling Caitlin I said, "Oh great, it has four Beldum as freaking legs." That was just kinda...weird. (But I still like Metagross so it's pretty much moot.)

I can't say for sure. We can't say for sure how long it took Ken to draw and design the Pokemon.

Ducklett and Swanna. Make a more cartoony version of a real duck and swan, and voila. Their evolutionary concept and origin is also incredibly and painfully obvious, the sort of idea that crosses your mind, but you instantly scrap because it's too predictable.

Muk, Electrode, Ditto, Exeggcute, Magneton, Dugtrio, Gulpin, Swalot, Klang, Klinklang

Most of the ones I mentioned are evolved forms that are just bigger, multiplied, or color-inverted. There's not much difference from their prevos.

Exeggcute is the opposite, because its evolved form is somewhat clever.
