The Pokemon i need to train now is my Crobat. I just evolved it yesterday. The problem is it seems to have a speed reducing nature which for Crobat is bad I think.

Yeah, Crobat's a really fast Pokemon, a really good nature for Crobat is Jolly.

Mine is Sassy nature. I dont want to train another because I already had that Zubat and it was already at Max happiness, so all I had to do was level it up.

I did train a Surskit, though, and THAT was a pain. The thing is so weak and has such a small movepool. I should've just gave it the exp. share and had my strong Pokemon do the battling for it, but I went and let it battle its miserable way up to lv. 22 from lv. 2 so it could evolve into Masquerain...

The things we do for the Pokémon we love? ;p

I guess, though I'm not exactly a big fan of Surskit and Masquerain.

I did something stupid in SoulSilver once... trying to catch every Pokemon as soon as possible (Between gyms), and keep them at the level of the next Gym Leader's Pokemon (Note, this became too much even at Bugsy), and I had a Togetic before at level 10, and a Zubat with enough happiness it could've evolved to Crobat at level 23.

It was then when I figured for the first time that Happiness isn't near impossible to max. (And was then proven wrong by a Buneary that refused to even attempt to evolve before Victory Road... not that it mattered, as it wasn't allowed to evolve yet anyways)

So, you really just have to find a clever way to train it. :P

I know but Im only using this Crobat in game. I just have to level it up( almost to Lv 60 since thats where most of my team is now) and train the rest of my team for Red. Before that I have to beat Blaine and Blue so I can have the last two badges, shouldnt be too much trouble though.

I found Zubat a little cute, I never really hate the common mons unless your a Basculin, then I will hate you forever

Basculin look kinda cool and are awesome for EV training for Speed.

I still like it and Swoobat, but Zubat and its evolutions are cooler.

I would get a Crobat, but I'd have to catch one of those annoying Zubats first, so I'll pass.
