Pikachu 3DS XL to be released in Europe

During tonight's European Nintendo Direct broadcast, EU Nintendo president Satoru Shibata announced that the limited edition Pikachu 3DS XL that received a limited release in Japan last month, will also be released in Europe at the end of the year (in limited quantities).

I want one, but I have a Wii U on pre-order. Curse you Nintendo!

Reggie needs to understand, I have held off from getting a 3DS XL because my body is ready for the Pikachu one

I got mine :D so happy with it! Even though the announcement came exactly 1 day after I'd bought a red 3DS XL... I've sold that one now, only got £120 for it, but y'know. It's better than nothing. And I love my Pikachu one :D

i really really want a 3ds but i'm holding out for the pikachu one (if we see a NA release), unless they release a zelda edition like they did with the ds lite (though unlikely any time soon). i've been holding on to my zelda ds lite for years now waiting for another special edition to take its place. it's getting reaaaally beaten up.
