Thread: One game or two?

One. Deepens the experience. I always choose the first, but that's just a coincidence.

I always get both versions. I like having another team to train with and being able to trade with myself is a nice too.

I always get both to begin with and for whatever reason typically end up with multiple copies of each version by the end of the generation. I also used to import before the English release as well, but didn't for BW2.

Usually just one, but I have both HeartGold and SoulSilver (the latter one was purchased because of the legendaries the safe file had).
There's no reason to buy both versions, they're basically the same game. I just prefer saving my money for newer games/handleds.

I almost always get the second version, though I'm breaking this tradition this time and getting X. I can't afford both.

Ever since the beginning days, we always bought all the Main game versions. oAo

I always get just one of them, and lately my brother has been getting the other. (We only have 1 DS though, so we can't trade with each other or anything.)

When I was younger, I would play both versions, but these days, I only pick one version. I guess the version I pick seems to be the one that represents the male character from my standpoint, i.e. Black = male, Red = male, Diamond = male, and so on and so forth. In a way, I choose whichever one I prefer.

I only ever get one. I never felt like I needed (or wanted) the other version, and I can't trade to myself anyway because I don't have a second DS. I'd rather spend the money on other games.

For the first three gens I use to get both versions of the game. Come Gen4 though, I started only getting one copy (Pearl, HG, White, White2)

I used to only get one of them, but since Black and White I've been buying both. Of course, it takes me a bit to get whichever one I don't have (lack of money causes that xD) but I plan on getting Black 2 and both X and Y when they come out. I also need to get the rest of the other games, too (Diamond, Pearl, HeartGold, etc).

I usually get both. Ever since the advent of the GTS, I've discovered that I need extra storage space, especially since Gen V. (Sometimes having a pair of favorites can suck a little but I wouldn't change it at all.)
