I guess I'm in the minority here, but I always liked the all-caps words. As I saw it, it was simply Pokémon's way of drawing attention to important words, much like how in Zelda games, words that give hints are in red. It was part of Pokémon's unique charm, but I'll still love the games either way. At least they're now consistent again, although if they really want to go for proper grammar, they shouldn't capitalize the first letter in random words like "Trainer".

I liked caps too.. but I'll get used to this.

Since they don't have a nickname, the Pokemon will probably revert to th default naming convention of BW. Just like when you trade a Pokemon from a foreign language game; despite the fact its name is in a different language the game recognises it isn't a nickname and changes it back to English when it evolves.

And I take case into account for spelling. Bulbasaur is a proper noun, so "bulbasaur" is wrong.
Actually in that sense it would be a common noun. Not a proper noun since it is referring to the species on a whole and not that particular bulbasaur.

I didn't really care that the pokemon's names were all caps. For me, it helped them stand out.

Whatevs. If they changed it, there is no harm done for me.

I'm nearly the opposite - I like the change because now my nicknames don't stick out in the middle of regular Pokemon names.

Also, my recently-resurrected fanfic. And something N fans would love to read.

All caps looks terrible with the font used in BW (well... at least in battles)

I guess just because that's tradition, I'm a tad sad, but on the other hand, grammar is good too :D

You know, I'm fine with no caps-locked names. When they were caps-locked, I kinda thought my game was shouting at me.

Thank GOD!! I was going to go crazy if the all caps remained even if I didn't nickname my Pokémon!

I'm glad they're getting rid of the all-caps names. I've always found it annoying.

In that case, it will only affect the nicknames of migrated Pokémon that are evolved once they are on the BW cart, but not at the moment you transferred them from a Generation IV game.
