I like the new spelling more. Even in Gen II/III, I nicknamed my Pokes in mixed-caps. I mean, it looks more natural. Plus, having every pokemon/item/place in all caps makes it look like the game is shouting at you![]()
But I can't lie, when the games made the partial move in Gen IV, I wasn't completely used to it...![]()

I heard somewhere that TCPi had planned to get rid of the caps-locked names back in Generation IV, but they had some problem with it not working.
