    Unhappy No more Caps-Locked Names?

I'm looking at some of the English screenshots, and see the Pokemon names are no longer in Caps Lock. C'mon, that's what I loved about battles! It may sound weird, but "BULBASAUR used Leech Seed!" has a better charm than "Bulbasaur used Leech Seed!". Plus, since I nickname all my Pokemon in caps, they'll look weird in this new game.

I know it's really insignificant, but just something I've always been used to has been erased. The game'll still be awesome, Caps-Lock or not :)

A lot of people prefer it the other way. I think you were on vacation when the fandom rejoiced.

You noticed this at this time? Anyway, I also preferred this naming convention too, because it just looks natural.

    Thanks for reading.

    I like the new way

Honestly, my biggest peeve in gen III was that EVERYTHING was in caps

I rejoiced when that was half taken out in gen IV

There are people who would prefer to see everything in lower case. E.g.

    "A wild bulbasaur appeared!"
The word "quadragonal" is the only word with "dragon" in it where "dragon" is not a root word. That makes it awesome.

I would always nickname my Pokemon in all caps since it was less work, but I stopped that when I got the DS games. And then now when I catch the legendaries I just keep their name, but make it lowercase.

That would be strange to me, because I consider the names of the Pokemon to be proper nouns.

Yeah, and that spelling is wrong.* Then again, most people cannot spell Pokémon or Poké Ball or Gyarados or Cofagrigus (without looking them up first) either.

Naturally cased names are the way to go.

    *): from my next post:
And I take case into account for spelling. Bulbasaur is a proper noun, so "bulbasaur" is wrong.

I actually don't mind it that much. I'd be fine either way.

What do you mean most people can't spell Pokemon? Is it because most don't use the accented e? I don't even know how to do that.

    He spelled Bulbasaur correctly btw...

Alt+0233 on the numpad is é, or many keyboard layouts have a dead key for the accent ´. And I'm saying that because it is not only computer written text. I've seen too much art spelling pokemon or Pokemon all over it.
