I see no reason to call this hack. You can catch it at the Trophy Garden at that level, and the moveset fits. As to your second question, no, I wouldn't think so. They probably do not have hack checks built into the Battle Videos, considering the boxes and boxes of hacked shiny Pokémon uploaded into the Box-sharing part of it.

When uploading, I don't think they do. But the videos themselves do. I was using a Deoxys I got through a cheat, and when I and my friend tried to save it as a battle video, it wouldn't let us because of my hacked pokemon.

Then, the Crown Beasts, Eevee, VGC 09 Milotic and World 08 Lucario that I battled yesterday aren't hacks? I managed to save the battle video without any problem.

What I mean is that they aren't obvious hacks. There is a small chance they are hacks, but those were all released not too long ago, so they should be more than a little common.

I have a questionable Pokemon that i got off of GTS if you guys would help me determine if is hacked or not. Here we go:

I got a SCIZOR that is foriegn (Japanese i think):
Met at route 229 at level 52 (you can catch lvl 52 syther on this route)
Ability:Technician
Moves:
Double Team
X- Sissor
Night Slash
Double hit
The only thing that is questionable to me is that it is shown to be caught in a safari ball.

The game it came from is hacked. It may be that the pokeball only was hacked, but it could be pokesaved. There really is no way to tell, my guess is that they just hacked in a Safari Ball.

It's hacked, since it's in a master ball. It should be in a cherish ball.

What does a nest ball look like? It looks like the Sizor is in a Gen IV safari ball, but i may be mistaken.
