That doesn't work. The GTS can still carry hacks. Nintendo sucked at trying to fix it.

So hacks can be put on as both offers and initial trades?
Sometimes they can, sometimes they can't.
It depends on how badly hacked the pokemon is. I could take my GTS Dodrio that I belive to be hacked, and because the stats are legit, the GTS will allow it.
But if I take my Pokesav Shaymin (Wich someone hacked for me because I can not go to events, don't bash me) the GTS will most likely block it because Nintendo knows that Shaymin hasen't been reveald in most places in the world.
Ok, no reason for me not to delete the old file and start my own then. Thanks.

Looking for BOLD cressilia, willing to offer one or two LEGIT SHINYS.(or basicly any other pokemon) If intrested, PM Alen1995(this guy)
Hacked.
Doesnt really matter now, as I already restarted the game.
Would be a bit frustrated to find it was actually legit though...
Question.
Is having a hacked Pokemon in your party or box will affect anything? Like corrupting your save file or anything like that? I have never trade over GTS, and I would like some infos before making my first GTS trade attempt. TQ.
Not at level 5. Remember, DP eggs hatch at 1, not 5.
EDIT: @=Dragonite=: Not really. I have a couple shiny Cherish Ball'd (shhh i like cherish balls :x) Pokémon in my box and the only thing they've done is just smile and grin at me. Now, I'm not too entirely sure what happens with over EV'd Pokémon or ones with illegal moves..

got a mew via the gts, says it was met at level 30 in Kanto, original owner was emerald in katakana... I'm guessing it's hacked?
Nope. Unless it's really poorly hacked, but I've only heard of one instance where that happened. If it is, chances are, it'll blow up on whoever hacked it before it can get to you. Don't worry about it. Most hackers on the GTS seem to have knowledge limited to unlimited Rare Candy/Master Balls anyway.
To give you an example, I traded away a Swampert that I personally hacked myself (Hey! It was made for a good cause, and wasn't blatant or anything. Shut up! <_<), and did a bunch of trade chains. What I usually ended up with also seemed to be hacked in some way, only much worse (in terms of complexity and functionality). Only one was really blatant though - a shiny Blissey met at Level 100 on Route 229. The rest seemed to be limited to Master Balls and maybe Rare Candies, which you can't really tell the difference between (I had a bunch of legit Master Balls at one point traded over from many playthroughs of Sapphire), but are otherwise legit. That I didn't mind much, but since they weren't what I wanted, I just passed the blunt around, so to speak. Nothing I saw came close to being like how my Swampert was. But I was trading for high leveled OU Pokes (and I'm sure the Swampert being legit wouldn't have made a difference). Regular trades usually don't have that kind of stuff, so you can safely ignore my story of putting in a quality hack and getting shit in return.
And that is why I'll never use the GTS in hopes of getting a good high-leveled Poke again. Now I don't blame people who don't put good stuff up (although I might be able to catch a cloner off-guard with a NFE if I'm feeling like an asshat). At least it was a better shot thanextortionistspeople who run trade threads, though. >_>
