I have a few questions. One, is there any way to tell if your pokemon was hacked and it was bred? (ie: I no longer have the parent Zorua.) Two, will a hacked pokemon always have a bad egg? I got my Zorua off of GTS and bred it with a ditto I traded up from Pearl, and traded the original back. Am I ever going to know lol!?
Edit: And if I recieved the Phonie and Mew from Pokemon Ranch, aren't they legit?

i believe that is this guy's: http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/members/46777.html he rng's all his pokemon, and hes a fricken god at it, too
Kukuku...
Really? He probably is...
It would be safe to say it's legit and offer it then.
Thanks guys

I'd been using that Latias for years, and it was one of my favorite pokes.
Well, I guess I'm better off knowing. Thanks.

Hello, everyone! This is my first post. I just traded a Pokemon on the GTS for the first time, an egg hatched, Lv. 1 male Eevee for a Zorua.
Upon my first glance at the Zorua I saw the words "Master Ball" and groaned, thinking it a sure sign that it must be a hack… However, upon closer inspection, I saw that the Zorua was not in a Master Ball. It was egg hatched, and *holding* a Master Ball. Still, that seems strange. I'm not the Pokemon expert everyone around here seems to be, but aren't Master Balls rare and valuable?
Here is all the information I could see:
Pokemon Species: Zorua / Female
Nickname: Zorua
Ribbons: N. A.
Ball: Daycare Couple / Egg Received (Looks like a normal Poke Ball?)
Area encountered: Skyarrow Bridge / Egg apparently hatched.
Level encountered: Lv. 1
OT: AUSTIN
Moves: Scratch / Leer / Retaliate / Roar
Careful Nature / Likes to Relax
ID: 49969
STATS:
HP: 12/12
Attack: 6
Defense: 5
Sp. Atk. 5
Sp. Def. 5
Speed: 6
Ability: Illusion
Held Item: Master Ball
Any help identifying this little one as a hack or not is appreciated. For that matter, can hacked Pokemon one receives on the GTS mess up one's game? I have Pokemon Black, by the way.
i don't know about the zorua, but i'd say that the master ball is almost definitely a hack.
And yes, gts hacks can ruin your game. I have recieved a few hacks in the past that haven't ruined my game, but friends of mine have had corrupted save data from gts hacks.
