I got a SHINY Spiritomb through the GTS for a lvl.1 male Magby, and I'm pretty danm sure it's hacked.

Ribbons: None

Area encountered: Pokémon League (the biggest hint to that it's hacked)
Level encountered: appearantly met at lv. 61
OT: MAX

Speed: 66

The "pokémon league" thing proves that it's a hack, right?

its cynthias spirtomb, caught with a catch trainers pokemon code, and then hit with a shiny code. it has flawless ivs, and it is definitely a hack. sorry.

Ball: Master Ball
Area encountered: ??? (arrived from Sinnoh obviously)
Level encountered: ??? (arrived at Lv.100)

Moves: Dark Void, Toxic, Dream Eater, Dark Pulse
Stats: 285 HP / 205 Atk / 189 Def / 289 SpA / 213 SpD / 260 Spe

Obviously I can't check where it was caught or at what level, but everything else seems to be legit as far as I can tell. The one thing that seems off is the random comma after the OT. If I made a mistake on my name I'd just restart the game, so I have no idea what that's about.

Yeah, that's a hack. 10 Aniv Pokemon are basically impossible to have shiny. The odds were about 1 in 67 million. However, in this case it's easier to tell it's hacked because this event Pokemon came at L70, so it is automatically a hack if it arrived at L50.

Well, I'm not too worried about it because I'm not going to battle anyone online with it and I won't trade it for anything. It hasn't appeared to damage my file, so I think I'll just keep it. Besides... I can breed eevees now. :D

that stuff about 1/67 million or 6.7 million may not be right. after doing some work with sabresite, we found that gen 3 events were generated in kind of a funny way and it looks like it may be the case that basically none have a shiny check. (colosseum celebi i can't comment on yet, as it is generated via the colosseum algorithm and that's still a work in progress) what we've been looking at sort of brings a lot back on the table considering how many events were thought to be impossible to be shiny.
