Well, the level and stats seem okay, too. So I'd say it's legit.
Re: The "Is My Pokémon Hacked?" Thread
Hi guys!
So, I either found a guy who knows how to clone pokes in White and Black......or a weird hacker.
He gave me three EVENT legendaries, who all info matches up. He has around 50 EVENT legendaries (Not all of them) but a great amount. From japanese events to american events, since 2007.
I kinda have the suspicion they are clones, since he doesn't have ALL event pokes and he doesn't give away shinies nor altered pokes.
Look:
Meloetta: Cherish Ball ( メロエッタ)
OT: えいがかん
ID No. 07142
Lv. 15
Item: PP Max
Jolly nature
7/14/2012
Pokémon Movie 12 (In blue colour)
Apparently had a fateful encounter at
Lv. 15.
Alert to sounds
Stats:
HP: 59
Attack: 31
Defense: 31
Sp. Attack: 42
Sp. Def: 47
Speed: 39
Ability: Serene Grace
Attacks:
Round
Quick Attack
Confusion
Gift Ribbon01
It looks so incredibly legit, I think I found a guy who actually knows how to clone in B/W......but who hasn't shared the secret yet.
I'm against hacking, but not against cloning.........what do you guys think????
Re: The "Is My Pokémon Hacked?" Thread
Everything seems valid based on what you've posted. As long as it isn't in its Pirouette (Normal/Fighting) Forme or something like that, it should be fine but could well be a clone. Doesn't seem to be a Pokécheck download.
Re: The "Is My Pokémon Hacked?" Thread
No, it's not on Pirouette form. Yet it still makes me nervous. xD
Re: Simple Questions / Simple Answers (Gen 5)
hello i hope somebody can help me!! i traded with someone who said that i was getting an oaks letter shaymin, but it doesnt say that it has had a close encounter... it it fake?

Do you mean a "fateful encounter?" If this Shaymin doesn't have the "fateful encounter" tag, then I don't think it's legit.
Re: Simple Questions / Simple Answers (Gen 5)
Fateful Encounter is a flag that Event Pokemon have, it's usually seen on Pokemon given out at events, and the legit Oak's Letter Shaymin should have one, if it dosen't it may not be legit or have been obtained in D/P using the Tweaking/Void glitch( it wont have a fateful encounter flag this way either)

Re: The "Is My Pokémon Hacked?" Thread
I got a porygon-z off of the gts last night that i'm pretty sure is hacked.
Species: porygon-z
Nickname: don't speak japanese
Ribbons: None
Ball: Poke Ball
OT: somthing in japanese
Moves: Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Recover
Stats: HP 369, ATK 171, DEF 239, SP.ATK 301, Sp Def 185, Speed 201
Ability: Download
Misc: Shiny
Says it was a Wi-fi gift with a fateful encounter at level 100.
Should i get rid of it? Do u think it could hurt my game?
Re: The "Is My Pokémon Hacked?" Thread
It's definately hacked, there haven't been any events for Porygon-Z let alone a shiny one. I dunno it probably wont hurt your game, I think if you want to keep it, it's fine, but if you want to be completely safe, I'd get rid of it, it's up to you.
Re: The "Is My Pokémon Hacked?" Thread
@jman21; Oh god, wait, what's the OT of that Porygon-Z? Can you take a picture of it? D8; 'Cause that sounds very familiar, but I want to make sure it's not actually mine. D8; Can you get in trouble for giving away a hacked Pokemon to a member indirectly through GTS? I give away hacked Pokemon all the time, but they're perfectly harmless.
Re: The "Is My Pokémon Hacked?" Thread
An Event Pokemon would have a Cherish Ball instead of a Poke Ball. That's a schoolboy error!

OT: In Japanese. No. is 03535
Ability: Klutz
Moves: Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Strength, Heavy Slam
And again:
Species: Golurk
Nickname: ゴルーグ
Ribbons: None
Nature: Impish (Likes to thrash about.)
Ball: Luxury
Area: Faraway place
Level: 50
OT: Again, Japanese. No. is 52266

Usually, I can spot a hack from ten miles away--if it wasn't caught in the Tower, it ain't legit. But that "Faraway place" tag is confusing the living slag out of me. The last time I saw that tag, I was trading between Johto and Sinnoh. So how would a Golurk end up with that tag unless it was hacked? Color me completely befuddled over here.
And before anyone asks, yes, I'm keeping them. Legit or not the big fellas are still mine.
They might be from Victory Road in B/W 2.

If it's the same Porygon-Z I had, I cloned 3 of him, since I was proud of my first Japanese PokeSav. 8D; Oh goodness, if that is my Porygon-Z, it is indeed a small world.
