Thread: Moves you think a Pokemon should have.

Swanna - Hydro Pump. Swans are able to spit out water in real life, so Swanna should learn Hydro Pump, in my opinion.
Lunatone - Lunar Dance. Do I even need to explain this one?
Flareon - Flare Blitz. Flareon's movepool is terrible, so a strong, physical move would improve Flareon.

I think the Fly problem could easily be averted by changing how it works outside of battle (any Pokemon that can Fly can learn the move, however only those above a certain size can use it outside battle).

I agree with a LOT of the suggestions in this thread, just a few to add:
1. Ninetales with Curse. Seriously, why doesn't it get it?
2. Starmie learning Confusion by leveling up, just for flavour.
3. Exeggutor learning Tri-Attack, due to many other three headed Pokemon learning it.

^ Or they could make a new Fly, and just make that the generic Flying-type move.

I think that Recover & Slack Off should be moves widely dispersed to Fighting types. Dog pokemon should also get Agility.

I mentioned this in another thread, but my only big gripe is Emboar. Why does he not have Fire Punch? WHY?

^ That is pretty damn silly, I mean, Fire Punch. It's like, the poster boy for fighting mixed with fighting. And a Fire/Fighting type with HUGE HANDS doesn't get it. Silly, silly, silly.

Also, Suicune should get Hurricane. It's the embodiment of the North Wind!

Never thought about that, pretty neat and yep it fits. It learns many wind attacks like gust anyways.

Speaking of Emboar, the guy needs close combat. If they didn't screw up Samurott's stat distribution and had made him part fighting type then Sacred Sword would really fit him. Even without the typing it fits actually.

Agreed with whoever said Haxorus should have Fire Fang. Strangely despite the massive tusk he doesn't even learn crunch...

Leafeon would love to get Horn Leech. Wood Hammer. OR FLAME CHARGE.

But Leafeon hasn't got a horn.

That said I can see it wrapping the leaf on its head around something, so maybe.

Hurricanes largely come from the east, not the north. Even in the southern hemisphere.
However, Suicune definitely deserves some sort of wind-related move if it doesn't already have one.

It confuses me that Purrloin and Liepard don't get Bite. I know very well that biting is one thing cats are quite adept at (oww), and it matches their type, too. :/

Seriously, the big guy has hands, so why can't he get a few more punching moves? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Hey, he doesn't even have to learn them naturally--we could do this via Move Tutor or something! I'll happily surrender a few Heart Scales for that sort of epic. Anything to spoil my big 'bots.

So, I looked up Ariados earlier, since I heard it could use Cross-Poison (not that it matters much, but still). Having looked at the page, turns out it can, but I also found something else: it can't learn X-Scissor.

That kinda saddens me, seeing as how it can clearly use it's limbs for cross-attacking, and that most other bugs get it.

Also, Entei with Earthquake seems plausible after the Beartic vs. Ursaring debate from earlier.
