Epic fail!

They could of picked many other great names but they had to go with this one XD

This guy got stuck with a real turkey of an english name, so I will admit that there's something oddly satisfying about seeing it backfire like this.

I have no doubt they could have have got a good pun out of any aspect of anceint egyptian lore. Pharoahs, pryramids, gods. But no. They combine 'coffin' and 'egrigrious', of all things :p

Where did the a come from? couldn't it have been an e like the e in egrigious. They seriously should've picked another name.

Wasn't "pine" on the list as well? Wonder if Pineco suffers this as well. I think they can fix this problem though since the GTS is seperate from each individual game.

If Pine is on the list, wouldn't Pineco be blocked from Gen IV too? I'll check if they've censored that, too.

I was the one who added the trivia, actually. It's a shame, but nobody wanted my Cofagrigus named "CensorFail"...

Its not the name that fails but them not making sure that the particular name wasn't made an exception.

TPCi. We fail with word filters.

The word filter is a dumb idea anyway. And blame game freak for that, it was in the Japanese version.

Meanwhile, I nicknamed my Pokemon "FUCKU"

Also, to any hacker: Is it possible to bypass the filter with Pokesaving?

Lol, that's a really bad fail. The name is a combination of the words coffin and sarcophagus.
