Thread: Legendary Pokemon you've caught without Master Balls

Read the title, and as you see, this is an extreme feat without hacking. What are your scenarios with this lucky chance? Once, it took me 78 times (I saved in front of it, so if I failed I could try again by quitting out and in again) in front of Virizon, and I had wasted about half my balls when I chuck and Ultra Ball at the red-health creature. Dun...Dun...Dun.... Chisch. I caught a Virizon! I was like this, since I was having fun and didn't believe you could catch legendaries without Master Balls: What has happened to you? NOTE that I sort of don't like stories like that when you hack.

Everytime. The master ball is for the roaming one. But in platinum there where so many ones that I trained an Absol with Thunder-Wave, False swipe and Mean look. (The another move, I don't remember if it was slash, sword dance or baton pass). I've used her to catch Cresselia and then the Beast in SS. I also caught Zekrom with a Quick ball in the first shot.

I never use the Master Ball for anything except the "Lost Forever" roaming legendaries in FR/LG.

I remember catching Zapdos in a Great Ball, though; and I caught Zekrom in a Premier Ball. Those are the most notable ones.

Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Suicune, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina Origin Forme, Uxie, Azelf, Cressilia, Darkrai, Shaymin, Heatran, Regigigas, Reshiram, Zekrom, Cobaltion, Terrakion, Virizion, Victini

Almost all of them, the only one I remember using a Master Ball on is Kyogre in HG.

Let's see: I've caught Palkia in Pearl and Dialga in Diamond with Dusk Balls, and I caught my Reshiram with a Timer Ball in Black. Oh, then there was Victini, who I finally caught in an Ultra Ball. Mostly, I pitch my Master Ball at the roamers. (Ugh, I hate roamers...)

I've always caught the legendary trios like the birds, the beasts, the musketeers, etc. with Ultra Balls. I caught Kyurem in White with a Dusk Ball as well.

In B/W I tried to catch every Legendary in a Poké Ball, and if I remember correctly I succeeded.

Pretty much all of them, even roaming legends. I always use my Master Ball on the mascot, because otherwise I know I'll never find the right time to use it.

Let's see...in my past, I've caught in Emerald the legendaries Kyogre and Groudon, and in White I've caught Zekrom, Cobalion, Virizion, Terrakion, Thundurus, and Kyurem. The only Master Ball I used in White was against Victini, and in Emerald was Rayquaza.

I caught Victini, Kyurem, Zekrom, Cobalion, Virizion, Uxie, Mespirit, Azelf, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Terrakion, Dialga, Entei, Suicune, Raikou, and Dialga without Master Balls.
Funny thing is, I've caught all of the legends that are currently available in BW, and I still have a Master Ball.
I'll either use it on Keldeo, Meloetta, or Genosect.
Or use it as trading bait.
