The Join Avenue Thread!

I haven't done much with Join Avenue yet, but I do like being the boss lol. xD; I had them Ace Trainers call me "Gavin-sama". I guess when my sister reaches her own Join Avenue, we can get working on Entralinking our games.

Thanks to NYCC, my Join Avenue is BEAST. It's already at Rank 14, I have more than 100 recommendations, and most of the stores are pretty strong. (and I also have 1400+ C Gear tags!)

Cons are great for building your avenue!

I renamed my Join Avenue "GlitchCity" and it's hilarious when it appears like that on my map and trainer card.

Meanwhile, I only have 4 badges as of this writing...

Just like my Entralink and White Forest on White version, my Join Avenue is also deserted. Blame the place where I live for having no one playing Pokemon around :/
Guess I've been missing lots of great gameplay features but what can I do.

If you need more people to visit your Avenue, Pokemon Global Link and the "Magnemite Chain" work wonders. That's part of how I got my Avenue to Rank 20 with level 7 or 8 shops!

and make sure you do a lot of dream pal requests, go into their houses and water their berries for a better chance of visits.

Whoa. I just checked out that Magnemite chain...what an awesome half hour it was. Anybody know where that all came from? Who started that?

Wow, no wonder Magnemite is the #1 Pokemon on GTS according to Global Link. And I thought it was just a mistake. xD

We did lol It's the easiest to catch in the beginning and the whole pressing "a" while trying to catch it just made it simpler ^_^

the "magnemite chain"? go catch a magnemite; any level, and offer it up for trade with the request for a magnemite. wait a few minutes, accept the new magnemite, and repeat*!

* you don't necessarily have to go out and catch a new one, just offer up the one you've received and put it right back in. make sure you have an empty spot in your party for the magnemite so you won't have to keep going to the computer to retrieve it from the trade.
