I would love to see both new Pokemon and R/S/E remakes. Because I lack a Gameboy, I have never been able to play the Gen III games.
I'll be the very best. Like no one ever was.

I wasn't really into the video games, I liked watching the anime. Then when I got a DS I got into the video games. Haven't been keeping up with the video game news, though so sometimes it's hard to figure out what everyone's talking about... It was only when they revealed the BW starters that I got excited for the new Pokémon. Back then, I would've been indifferent but right now, post-BW, I'm really excited for any news of new Pokémon.

Indifferent at best. I'd be quite content if they stopped creating new Pokemon and focused on other elements that need improvement such as storyline, repetitiveness, linearity, character customization etc.
And as Gen.III Hoenn didn't really sit well for me,I'd love to see R/S/E remakes to give the region another chance.

Excited especially when it comes to there concepts as well as designs. I can't wait for Generation 6 to come out. I really don't want to spoil it this time for myself like I did with Diamond and Pearl and Black and White too.

As much as I am excited for an Emerald remake, I am sh****ng brix for Gen VI. I can't wait to see my new allies in a new game, but I am also pretty nervous about designs and stats. Hopefully it will be a step in the right direction.

I don't know how you can't be excited for new Pokemon. It's the number 1 thing I look forward to when a new generation is announced.

I'm a sucker for new Pokemon. Gen 5 was awesome in terms of the reveal period, and I can't wait if we're really in the pre gen 6 period.

I fucking love the run up to a new gen. Probably more than actually playing the games themselves. There's so much left to be discovered. After the games have been out for about 2 weeks all the magic is lost once everything is known. The pokemon are far and away the best part of the whole thing. Seeing all the ideas people try to squeeze into silhouettes is great. Gen V didn't really have too many of those. IV had a ton though which made that a great ride. The run into DP also lasted over 2 years, which was so much fun. While I loved getting out of class February 10, 2010 going into the caf and seeing that not only had the silhoutte been revealed, but also it's preevolution, BW didn't really have a fun run, seeing as it only really happened over that summer.

That's what kinda bothers me about what's happening now. Everyone is so certain Gen VI'll be on the shelves next fall, which would leave us with a case far more similar to BW. I'm hoping we've got well over a year until we'll be seeing the games to come out, but that new reveals aren't too far off. With the utter lack of hints towards RS remakes though, I'm thinking the next gen is the next thing to be coming out of the gate, so we probably don't have long to wait. I know I'll love the ride, but I just wish it'd last a little longer.

Both to me. I had been pretty appalled at the designs of Gen5 pokemom and the seemingly endless productions of Eeveelutions. I didn't really care aboit those dragons either. But some like Cranidos, Buneary, Ralts, Joltik etc were really captivating - and made me excited about them.

    If there's a Gen6, I hope they don't let me down XDD

I'm starting to think that new pokemon is the only thing that keeps me going. I might stop at gen 6 since I am starting to forget what pokemon are called a lot and that is a sign to me that my brain can't take any more pokemon and soon I won't be able to play at all. Mostly it's the new inspiration for me, though. I love to write junk with pokemon, and every new gen gives me new ideas.

Gen 5 has the least amount pokemon that i actually like in fact some of them i find cringe worthy. im happy enoguh for them to stop making new pokemon alltogether ideas seem to be running out and pokemon ar geting worse each gen since the 3rd completeing the national dex is slowly becoming crazy. The names are another problem they seem to be geting more complex these days someone says a pokemon and i cant even recall what it is. im all for them just remakng the honnen games thats my favourite gen and sadly i no longer have my emerald that would get more excited then any new pokemon.

i want Gen 6 pokemon if the designs are great but mostly i dont care.

In Gen IV I experienced a short phase of "say no to Gen V!", but once Gen V was upon us all of that changed and ever since then I've always been excited for new things.

Especially legendaries. I love these guys so BRING ME MORE.
