Got it and went battle subway to collect EV power items. Maxing speed inside 26 battles is win.
I had no idea what Pokerus was until I got a Japanese Arcanine over wifi with pokerus. I asked some people on facebook what the purple PKRS was, and they told me how lucky I was to have a Pokerus'd pokemon, and explained what it was.
I spread it to random pokemon whenever I feel like it. I put it on some random Pokemon I don't use so that i won't take it out of the PC and lose the Pokerus.
and I spread it to all of my Pokemon I plan on EV training.
As someone who has never had a Pokemon with Pokerus before, I would scream/cheer/be stunned at my own good luck.
After recovering, I would let it spread a bit before placing some of the infected Pokemon in a box to keep for later use.
I actually don't care for Pokerus. I know there are benefits to a Pokemon having it, but I never cared for them. I also really disliked that little smile icon that would appear on a Pokemon's summary page in the 4th Generation games once Pokerus disappeared. It just bothered me for some reason.
I caught it in my sapphire. Didn't know what it was until I read the Bulbapedia article a few years ago, so I traded my pokemon in Pearl, Platinum, Soulsilver, and White to get them all infected :P

I've never found a Pokémon to have it, but if I do I'll probably spread it to as many as I can, including a few that I can keep somewhere in the PC just in case.
I spread the Pokérus virus to the Pokémon in my parties then store the original Pokémon in a PC Box contaminated so that I can spread the virus to future parties in my other versions. Currently I still have 5 Pokémon in my PC boxes with the Pokérus virus. I think I originally got it from a hatched Mudkip in LeafGreen but I already used the Pal Park to transfer it to Pearl version without knowing it had the virus.
