Thread: How long did it take you to beat the Main Storyline?

First and foremost, Mods, if there is a topic like this already feel free to lock the topic.
What was the time in hours and minutes it took you from the start of your journey through Unova to defeat the Elite Four? Personally I have had the game since Tuesday and am only in Pinwheel Forest at around 7 hrs of gameplay. I want to see how slow I am compared to a lot of you.

I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say that it might have been better if you'd just asked how long it took to beat the main storyline instead ;)

I've been playing every day since the UK release and I'm in Driftveil City at the moment. The longer it takes the better, you can savour the experience! White is such a fun game that I'd like to play through it more than once, so I can try out all three starters.

And I agree I am enjoying the game so much even though I have not gotten to far in the game yet.

About 40 hours. I think I took things a bit slowly in terms of training pokemon. But at the same time, I think I whizzed by too fast and didn't take in the sights as much as I should have.

There's nothing to stop you going back and enjoying the sights now! :) I revisited Accumula Town recently and discovered a lot of things I hadn't noticed before, like the two musicians who change the background music.

Based on my post here, about 50 hours.

About... 30 hours? But that was when I stormed through White. Now I'm slowly enjoying my copy of Black, free of planning my team and being picky, just using whichever Pokemon I like and taking time to train evenly and enjoy the environments and music. With the latter, I tend to play through again and clock up hundreds of hours, piecing everything together in admiration rather than rushing through in excitement to find out what happens - this time I've got about 60 hours on Black already and I only just got my fourth badge.

Got the game last Friday, beat it on Tuesday.
I had work on Monday but aside from that I played for most of the weekend and Tuesday, so about 3-4 days of actual playtime.

It took me 18 hours and 34 minutes to complete the main storyline

It took me 50 hours. With the new leveling system, I tried my hand at raising like 12 Pokemon in rotation for the main game. It took longer, but it was fun.

12 or something hours....

Revives and Max Revives and Full Restores were my best friend in the Elite Four...


Well, that was for the defeat of Team Plasma, not the Hall of Fame.

And, FYI, was actually shorter than all my other Hall of Fame entries.

I don't know the exact time but it was under 20 hours. Way too easy.

2 days with my league time at around 21 hours of playtime. That includes beating Alder as well.
