Thread: How do you arrange your PC boxes?

For me, it's pretty much always been in the order they were obtained, but now that I think about it, I might try to organize my boxes in White 2 & in future games.

By types and sometimes by lettering. Depends what mood I was in XD

I organize them by Pokédex order, and I only have 15 Pokémon per box with a column between them so I can see all of them clearly. For example, my first box is:

In Soul Silver I have so many Pokemon that it's hard to keep track of them. So, I organise the box system, having one box for Pokemon I will probably release further on, one box for Pokemon I want to train, one box for trained Pokemon, one for breed Pokemon etc. I check the IV of my Pokemon and sort them accordingly. If the IV is good, but I feel it's not in the appropriate stat for this Pokemon, then it usually ends up in the breed box. In older games I also used to have a trade box.

In other games I don't have that many Pokemon, since I only get the ones I need, so I only fill about two boxes, one for important Pokemon and one for the rest. That's why I often start training Pokemon from certain events or downloaded Pokemon before I train Pokemon from the wild.

My first couple boxes are my regular Pokémon, organized by level from highest to lowest. After that, I have a box for legendaries/shinies, then special Pokémon (like specially bred with egg moves), my own bred Pokémon, then a junk box for trade fodder.

I organize them by type, with my competitives at the top-right and my others at the bottom-left.

Before Gen IV, I would always just sort them by the order I caught them. In Diamond, I originally sorted by the primary type, then I started running out of room and ordered everything by Dex number. In Black, I reserved one box for sorting, one box for competitives, and the rest by dex number. In B2, I reserved a box for sorting and a box for competitives and then about 12 boxes for DWF's, two boxes for legends, two boxes for my Vanillite collection, and the rest for dex fillers.

I sort the first 17 boxes by type, in order of the Kanto and Johto gyms. (Rock, water, electric... Ice, dragon, then dark)

After those, I have 2 boxes for legendaries, a box for Ev trained/competitive pokemon, a box for unown, a box for N's pokemon, and 2 boxes for eggs/breeding.

I do this as well. I first organize a box for each type, then make a box for my team and hm pokemon, then another one for legendaries and other event pokemon, a box for all unown, and the last box I call "Baby Box" which has pokemon that are either an egg or are at a level under ten.

Hmm, I don't but maybe I should. I just let them pile up. I once tried going by type, but there are so many 2-type Pokemon that it got confusing.

I don't arrange my PC boxes in any specific order so they are usually arranged in the order of when they we caught, obtained or bred.

Usually, I just leave them in the order they were obtained. My Pokémon in Black 2 are arranged in National Dex order, though (it took forever to get all of them in place).

By colors, because I'm a racist.

Normally, I do not bother to organise the boxes. When I do so, I normally
organise it by National Pok�dex number, to provide for a Living Pok�dex. If
applicable, I put the Unown in their own box.

Got a box for N 'mon and legendaries, and another for trade candidates (usually excess Dream Radar 'mon). Otherwise, there's no set order.
