Also, it took me a while to find an Eevee in Black 2, until I realized they were a level higher than all the other pokemon in the area, so I took out my Pokemon that was Eevee's level and used repels. Viola, only Eevees appeared! :D

@The Togekiss first off, I love that picture! Where did you get the images to make it?
Secondly, yes that's happened to me before...I remember spending hours on Soul Silver chasing down Entei, everytime the map said I was in the area, he'd flee at that second.
And, I spent a lot of time looking for Eevee in Castelia.
I spent about 45 minutes searching for a Riolu in White 2 before giving up.
It took me days to find the patch with Feebas back in Sapphire. Milotic was the last pokemon in my national dex in that game.
I also remember having a pretty tough time with Chimecho in that game.
And Tynamo was a bit of a bitch in White.
Looking for Riolu in Floccesy Ranch proved to be quite a challenge, it payed off though.
I was looking for a Chansey for the heck of it. I probably spent two hours looking for one. I gave up once I ended up catching a shiny Noctowl. I thought, "Well, if I can find a shiny faster than a Chansey, I guess that's saying something."
I ended up waiting for an outbreak.
I've spent at least 2 hours trying to find Snubbull in HeartGold and have yet to catch one. It's driving me insane right now.
Yeah, it took me a little while to find a Lapras in White 2... five percent chance in rippling water...
Thankfully it didn't take *as long* to catch one as I was expecting, though.>_>;
Does taking four days to catch Giratina in Platinum count?
feebas in sapphire.... though it evolved quickly afterwards ôO so all in all..
I spend most of my time looking ofr Audinos, for level grinding. I just wait to see that grass shake !
I remember spending a while trying to snag a Feebas in Sapphire. The Magikarp tend to play tricks on you after a while.
Also in Black 2 I'm still trying to catch an Adamant nature Deerling in the wild. I'm lazy about breeding for one, but it's starting to feel like the better option.
It didn't seem like it took me that long to get a Feebas. Though I'm still looking for my Snubbull.
Bagon in White 2. I was searching for that little pest for nearly five hours, before turning off my 3DS and returning to the outside world. One week later, I open up my game again...and find one in five minutes.

Swablu in Emerald. It literally took me 4 HOURS to find one, even though it had the highest encounter rate in the area I was trying to catch it in! Luckily, it ended up being a shiny! I've cherished that Swablu for the two weeks I've had it.
