Nope, never.

No I never ditch them due to the fact that they are my more powerful (and overleveled) Pokemon in my teams. Also I'm fond of all of the starters. Post-game is a different story though.

No. Only for competitive battling, but for the normal playthrough, never. I know they're just a bunch of pixels, but I'd feel like a terrible trainer doing so.

Ditched my Grovyle on my first ever Ruby playthrough. Never did like it that much, despite Treecko being the coolest of the 3 starters. I also just decided not to use a starter at all on bw and bw2 after giving all the starters a try. Can't stand any of them lol.

No, I haven't. But sometimes i think about boxing my meganium in HG. I don't like chikorita line, but i started with it just for see how it goes (it went bad).

The games are easy enough to use your favorite Pokemon, even if they aren't stellar.

Empoleon is probably the best starter I've chosen in terms of competitiveness.

Yeah, my Snivy after the third badge in White. I can't remember exactly why though...I guess I just didn't feel like using him. Maybe I'll get back to him sometime.

I often ditch the starter, depends on how I'm playing. If I'm mono typing then I'll ditch the starter if it's not applicable to the team. So it depends on the play through.

Yeah, Blastoise in my Leaf Green run.

I generally use Bulbasaur, but I already have one in White. So I picked Squirtle, so I could get Squirte (and Raikou) and import them to White later. However, Blastoise was damn useless against the E4. So for the rematch, I used the traded Dewgong instead, who had STAB Ice Beam to hit Lance hard with anyway.

It is not real. It has no feelinks. New Pokemon is much better.

Seriously? In-game is a breeze, so it's OK not to ditch the starter. I do it all the time, if they suck.

I usually like my starters, but in BW2 I think I won't keep it. I've seen Unovian starters way too often at this point.

I ditched my poor unevolved snivy in BW, after driftveil. ( its unevolved cuz i thought i would want a challenge) Now im having an unevolved oshawott in BW2 and im in driftveil. I hope i can break my record.
