Thread: Which have you done legitimately?

I've personally caught three shinies (Rattata, Pidove, and Gothita), gotten Pokerus in Emerald, and completed the Pokedex in Platinum.

Lucky me, I've caught Pokerus twice (sarcasm ;-;). I ran into several random shinies (last one being a Cottonee on B/W launch day). I only completed the Pokedex in like, 1st and 2nd Gen, so that hardly counts. I have no interest in building my Trainer Cards, haha.

I'm surprised that so many people have legitimately obtained the Pokérus, considering it is a lot more rare than a shiny and can't come from breeding (as far as I know).

And I must have terrible luck with shinies because as far as I remember, I haven't come across one in any game after Generation II (and my Black Version is close to 80 hours... pretty sure the other games are at least 40 hours each). I haven't been breeding for them or anything, but I wouldn've thought I'd come across at least some in the wild in all this time...

My SoulSilver is at 200 hours and i've only encountered 1 shiny legitimately, and it was a Hoothoot

Got my first shiny in a trade on Pearl, but it was the Rage Gyrados and I got Pokerus from a trade as well. I know for a fact I got a Shiny Audino last year on White though and RNGd a Shaymin in Platinum.

I completed the national Pokédex in Platinum, and have encounted Shiny Floatzel, Zubat, Magikarp, and Psyduck in Platinum, Emerald, SoulSilver, and HeartGold, respectively. The only one I didn't catch was Zubat.
