I don't see them removing her completely. I just hope it doesn't mean she's been promoted to Elite 4/Champion. I don't want to have to fight two dragon leaders like Clair and Lance in HGSS because they were both pains.

Cheren
1. Most likely : Patrat and Lilipup
2. Doubtfull : Patrat and Buneary (in Black) or Skitty(in White)

Homika
1. Most Likely : Koffing and Trubish
2. Doubtful : Koffing and Whirlipede

Burgh
1.Most likely : Whirlipede, Vespiqueen and Leavanny
2.Doubtful : Crustle, Whirlepede and Leavanny

Elesa
1. 99% confirmed :Emolga, Flaffy and Zebstrikka

Clay
1.Most Likely: Palpitoad, Waruvile and Excadrill
2.Doubtful : Mamoswine, Waruville and Excadrill
I don't even know is there any pre gen V ground type announced.

Skyla
1.Most Likely : Unfeazant,swana and Altaria
2.Doubtful : unfezant swana and charizard

Shizui
1.Most likely : Jelicent, Lombre ,Alomomola
2.doubtful: Jellicent , dewott (samurott), golduck

Drayden or iris
Dragonite, haxorus, Druddigon

I imagine that Brycen is no longer the Gym Leader due to Pokéwood and it rekindling his interest in his acting career.

Now that we have all the Gym Leaders confirmed, here's my guess:

Cheren: Patrat and Buneary
Homika: Koffing and Whirlipede
Burgh: Dwebble, Heracross, Leavanny. (Either way, if not Heracross, it will probably be Whirlipede that is replaced)
Elesa: Emolga, Flaafy, Zebstrika (Confirmed)
Clay: Krokorok, Palpitoad, Steelix (Or possibly Krokorok, Onix and Excadrill)
Skyla: Unfezant, Swanna, Altaria
Shizui: Vaporeon, Jellicent, Ludicolo
Drayden: Druddigon, Dragonair, Haxorus

I like Eneci's idea of Cheren having Patrat and Buneary in Black 2 and Patrat and Skitty in White 2. Though I don't think they'll do that. I could see him having a Minccino, because if it had Technician it would actually be more challenging than the bog standard early-game Patrat + Lillipip combo (which is to say not challenging at all unless they push their levels high).

And Altaria goes with Skyla like Flaaffy goes with Elesa. Which means to say it's a perfect match. So I agree with that.

I think Burgh will have Dwebble, Vespiquen and Leavanny.

That is a pretty cool idea with Buneary and Skitty. I do think every Gym Leader is going to have a team made up of Gen I-IV and Gen V Pokémon though, so I doubt he'll have a Minccino.

I don't see why Cheren would use Skitty or Buneary when Delcatty itself has no level restrictions and, more importantly, is not overpowered for the first gym. Its base stat total is 380, which is lower than Onix's (385).

It's not about the Pokemon it's about Black-White difference! I wouldn't mater him to have a Delcatty! But either way it's doubtful cause he probably will have a Lilpup, cause of the animated movie where he was shown with a Stoutland.
But again that hasn't to mean anything!

I don't think Skyla should have an Altaria, because Winona already had one. There are plenty of other flying types that haven't already been used, and especially that haven't just been used by the previous flying type Gym Leader. Drayden could have Altaria, because he would be using it for its dragon typing instead.

Well usually Normal type gym leaders have a tough Pokemon in their team (Whitney had Miltank, Norman had Slaking, though Lenora had Watchog (which isn't exactly tough)), so maybe he'll have a Chansey, which could be quite tough to beat at that point in the game. As for Homika, as well as her Koffing, she might have a Gulpin or a Trubbish (seeing as she had a Garbodor in the anime).

Because other than Falkner, no other first Gym Leader has used an evolved Pokémon, so it's more likely than not that Cheren wouldn't use an evolved Pokémon either.

When it comes to choosing between Skitty and Delcatty, the latter is far more comparable to the likes of Onix, Pidgeotto, Nosepass and Cranidos. Unfortunately for the Skitty family, even their version counterparts have much higher stats. I agree that Buneary would be acceptable, but Skitty wouldn't last very long in battle; the same goes for Lillipup.

With its enormous HP, Chansey is tough to beat in general despite its low Defense. I think that the most challenging but reasonable option for the first gym would be Munchlax.

Altaria is far more of a bird and a flying type than a Dragon, so it makes sense for Skyla to get one. Skyla needs to become more of a challenge anyways, so give her an Altaria with Dragon Dance. I would say Cotton Guard as well but that level 40 is too high for her normal peak (level 35) unless they could raise the challenge by a mere 5 levels.

I'd much rather see Drayden get a more intimidating Dragon type. While Dragonite is too high in levels, they could make an exception like they have done in the past. If not then Kingdra is a fine match, and maybe Dragonair as well.

The Altaria from RSE was a B*tch! She and her earthquake made me really work for it!
So Altaria is always an +! I would love Skyla to have something from the Rufflet line but she needs a none gen V poke! So Altaria is maybe the best choice!

I think Shizu should get a Luvdisc. Trés romantique! But since not all trainers are good enough to raise such an exquisite Pokémon, I can picture him with a Palpitoad, which suits his artistic leggings and offers Ground as a very useful secondary type. Taking in account his Gym's challenge, I must agree with mademoiselle Janine that a member of Lotad evolutionary line has a notorious likehood of being part of his team's rooster. Mm, Ground and Grass complementing Water... That would be a marvelous combination to behold!

By the way, Luvdisc isn't a big challenge for the player. I agree with Skyla having Altaria, she needs more, because she was so weak in BW..
