Lapras looks like a dinosaur and Iris clearly have a dinosaur/dragon-based team. It is a better choice than Milotic, which is based on Sirens. I am very pleased with her non-dragon Pokémon. Lapras is one of the most interesting Kanto Pokémon, Aggron is the freaking boss and Archeops isn't bad, plus it have a stunning design.

what, I wasn't allowed to like the post just because I liked the idea of Clay being the eighth gym leader? Unfortunately it was vastly wishful thinking but still.

Honestly, game!Iris is much more tolerable than anime!Iris so I'm not annoyed about it (I'm more annoyed at how sudden it was that she became champion despite having never shown interest in that position in BW; also, I don't like the thought of another dragon-wielding champion). I rather liked Iris in the games. Unless anime!Iris suddenly becomes the champion, which won't happen, I have no cause to be concerned.

Her design is pretty nice, too.

Hydreigon is never hard. Slap it with a Fighting move, and down it goes.

Why aren't all the VS screens this awesome. I know it's the champion and all, but the others seem lame in comparison...

If its anything like Ghetsis's Hydreigon, then its going to be an @$$-hole. :/

I also see that all of Iris's team is one level higher exactly than Alder's, I guess that means that she has surpassed him as Champion. Same with the E4, being stronger than before.

I think it's a bow or a crown? but that VS screen is awesome... definitly getting a Dratini as werll so that would held against that damn Dark Dragon or I'll get a Deino myself

Haven't had the chance to follow this much or catch up, so sorry if this question has gotten repeated nonstop. Any appearances from the original player characters documented yet? Interested in seeing how the artists show them, since they did a great job with aging Iris.

Aww, her looks gave me an impression of her being a princess.

As for that Hydreigon... I'm so glad that Riolu appears early in the game.
