I hear that is related to Dia/Paru (I think Akeji mentions in)

An item, Heaven's Pipe, is needed to get to Aruseus. I dunno about anything else.

Yes, Team Galaxy uses a Red Chain to summon Dialga/Palkia. But there is also a key item called Red Chain.

The key item is indeed the one used by Akagi, as far as we are concerned.

As it would appear, the Red Chain is one of six items that are present in the game's coding, though almost certainly unobtainable (there are also unobtainable items from the previous games, but those have no function whatsoever). Three of these, the Red Chain, Teasure Sack and Volacno Rock, reportedly serve their purpose in dialogue. It should follow that all six items are only different to the rest of the unobtainables in that their names are used by the game.

Coronis has not been able to detect where in the game the Boat Ticket, Contest Pass or Sticker Sack are mentioned, but admits that he could have easily overlooked it. I suspect that Jasmine, who says she has just arrived in Shin'ou by boat, is our answer for the Boat Ticket. The Contest Pass and Sticker Sack logically pertain to Super Contests, though it is hard to imagine why items replaced by others would be relevant.
