Thread: Which generation looks the best?

I'd say Gen V had the best design graphics, but different Pokemon look better in different Gens imo.

Gen III had some great designs. I'm not a HUGE fan of Gen I, because I didn't enjoy some of the insanely simple, not too creative designs they had. I like Gen V as well.

Generation I. V is a close second.

Kanto, Unova is close to being my favorite.

Gen II for me. I don't like most Gen III Pokémon.

I think gen IV was great, especially HG/SS. I love the day/night feature, the new routes leading to the safari zone, and all the little things they put into the game. Gen V was good, but I think that they went a little too overboard with the 3D effects, although it does look awesome.

I think all are good but i like the first most, then the fourth

GEN III I loved! It was blocky in a good way.

GEN IV I really liked as well it just brought in a whole new look ino mind. I really wnjoyed HG and SS.

GEN V was really good as well. Just some amaIng graphics.

They all had great graphics for their time

The Generation 2 designs have been my favourite. Good originality and creativity.

For me, II > I > IV > III > V

Every generation has its ups and downs though. I do not dislike any of them.

I would say;

V = II > IV > III> I

It seems Johto is the overall most liked of this thread.

I say Gen I, since it was the beginning they used more creativity to me.

Every generation has it ups and downs. But Generation 2 is probably my favorite. Gen 1 is also pretty good, while 3, 4, and 5 each have some really great designs and some really bad ones.

Generation II for sure. The Pokemon there looked great, and even the Johto region itself was beautiful. The gym leader designs were awesome, too.
