It looks absolutely nothing like Dusknoir apart from being cycloptic. It's quite clearly a tree and Dusknoir doesn't look anything like a tree.
i want fennekin to evolve into fenecrisis then into fenedoom all fire and dark froakie to a water and ghost and chespin to a grass fighting
I agree with Zeb on this one.
maybe roller skates replace running shoes
I quite like the ghost type being rare. The more common they are the harder it is to use them seeing as they are weak against themselves. 3-4 for this gen would be great though.
If at first you don't succeed, warp reality till it fits your demands ;)
claimed Ekans on 10/28/2012 and all has been well in the world ever since. :)
Since the Genesect Vs Mewtwo movie a new Pokemon called Orotto has been revealed in a trailer only in the cinema. Afterwards, fan tried to draw Orotto. This one seems to be the nearest drawing of the truth.
Attention, may there are some difference with the official Orotto, but japanese fans seems to be agreed to say that it's the certified copy.
Edit : Others drawings of Orotto have emerged.
All of drawings are both similar and different. The first official images of Orotto would come next week... Meanwhile, patience...
I'd like to specify that I'm French so forgive me if I make mistakes :)
Believe it or not, but I think Inkay/Malamar might be at least partly based on HP Lovecraft's work. Their typing would make sense, at least. And Inkay has been seen manipulating space, which fits a non-euclidean/bizarre space theme.

Dogasu didn't draw a picture, but once more Orotto's described as resembling the scary tree dude "Mandragora/Treevil" from Dragon Quest.
I wish I could actually find a picture of that Dragon quest monster. I saw one, but it was small.
Like this, bar with a cyclopean eye apparently.
Sharing my opinion on Orotto, I actually find it to be a rather unimaginative Pokemon. From what I've read, it seems to resemble too closely, as previously stated, walking tree monsters from other RPGs. Or heck, other such tree monsters from other games. The tree monsters from Bomberman Tournament also come to mind. Yes I know I've went on before that each Pokemon has their own little thing that sets them apart from each other, but this is a little too similar for my liking. Like even though Voltorb and Electrode are clearly supposed to be Pokemon's version of Mimic monsters, it's not like they're based on the stereotypical treasure box either.
But it's here, so hey. And I guess it's nice to get another tree Pokemon other than a palm tree with three coconut heads. It might grow on me once I've seen what it actually looks like, which hopefully won't be too long of a wait.

While these renditions are fun, what more information do we have about "Orotto?" Unless I've missed it, what context did it appear in? Was it destroying, helping, or was it just a filler Pokemon? Did it seem to have any major significance? Third box legendary-type significance? Hopefully it's revealed in full some time soon.
