That color. Every other eevee has a color matching the color of the type in their background theme. And Sylveon's does not match Bug.
    So, Flying as in ?
    Yes I do but

Sylveon has light and dark pink. Third time, I mean the area around the pokemon, not the pokemon itself. Leafeon has green, Flareon has dark and pale red, Glaceon has dark blue etc.

^Did you guys notice the letters? What do they mean??

That's just the "Mewtwo's Awakening" part of the logo flying around.

It's probably saying "Pokemon" or "Mewtwo" in japanese, looks like Kanji at least.

Rank 14 out of 600 pokemons?
Go to Serebii's BW Dex, and go to the page that sorts by stat types. Umbreon is listed there at number 14.

I don't really care if people want to speculate a little, I'm just starting to go crazy from people saying, "Sylveon ABSOLUTE, IRREFUTABLY IS X-type, for this bullshit reason I just pulled out of my ass and is probably completely coincidental, anyway." I mean, the only thing we really know, is it doesn't have an obvious type, just from looks, otherwise there wouldn't be so much discussion on what its type is, so trying to claim you know its type, based on clues from looks, is semi-ridiculous.

And by 'you', I mean, overly confident speculators who mostly aren't here, I'm not talking about anyone in particular.

Yeah, but it's obviously the first triple-typed, Flying/Bug/Normal pokemon because some breeze blew so it's ribbons wobbled and its eyes are totes compound bug-eyes. Also, it shares colours with Audino. Therefore, it must be a toaster.

That's an ... interesting prospect (each Eeveelution supereffective against one on the opposite side) but Water is obviously out of the question because we've always had Vaporeon. (Also, the chart could simply be arranged with G1 at the top, G2 middle, G4 bottom)

How about Ground? It could be the other way around. If this "chart" were true, this would mean that either Sylveon is weak against Jolteon (hence Water or Flying as you said) or it is Super Effective against it, which would mean Ground.

Except that this is the least serious point to back up a theory on Sylveon's type, so, joking aside, with each passing day I feel more and more inclined to thinking it actually will be a new type still unknown to us.

I was hoping it would be 130 attack and 110 speed so it could be the first physical eeveelution sweeper, but with all the glowing it was doing in the trailer i dont see that happening, it will probably still be special. So i would like 130 HP 110 Speed 95 Sp Attack 65 defenses and 60 attack

Still, Ground or Flying both seem legit.

    I had to answer this.

...Except it's Sylveon, not Sylpheon. 'Sylv', from 'Sylvan', meaning 'Forest'. 'Sylvan' is commonly used to refer to Elves in the US, and its other names 'Nymphia' and 'Feelinari' also refer to fae creatures.
...Which doesn't mean that it can't be Flying Type, of course, since faeries typically fly, I'm just still pulling for Sylveon and Xerneas to both be of a new Type that is somehow connected... in spite of myself, since I'm trying not to care until something is said for certain.
    Not every faery flies.

Let's be utterly blunt here: the term "faery" is very broad. Most people think along the lines of Tinkerbell; trust me, not every faery is cute and adorable with gauzy wings and a pretty wand. Some are outright terrifying and can kill you without a thought. I've done a little research on them and can tell you--faeries scare me. They are not as benign as some people want to make them out to be. So yeah, if Sylveon turns out to be faery...

Of course, all this here speculation will be moot in a few months when we finally get the real scoop on Sylveon. Then everyone will facepalm and say, "Why didn't I see that coming?!"

A new type would make most sense, but Game Freak will find a way to make one of the types fit.
