More likely obtain the National Dex... which may or may not be obtainable before beating the game... I don't know if anyone has managed to do it before the E4.

I assume you need the National Dex...

Serebii didn't show it as a requirement but I think it goes without saying. Which sucks. I want my Vulpix damnit.

The National Dex isn't particularly difficult to get, though.

If you can manage to not get it after beating the E4 or shortly after, i'd be extremely surprised.

The hardest part of it, arguably, is the Psychic trio as they're buggers to catch.

It is if you're as stingy with the Poke Balls as I am.

You only have to see the Pokemon. The majority of which you'll see in trainer battles alone.

True, at least we'll see all the starters this time. Oh well, I wanted a Vulpix to fill my fire slot. They finally gave it a decent moveset.

It's getting them to stay in the pokeballs after that that's the problem. :p I actually had one get down to three shakes after a small chunk of damage and by the time it was down to a mere sliver it wouldn't stay at all.

    Hax :/.

I know, teach Weavile it to battle the Trio since he is resistant to them.

Resistance doesn't matter. The trio are armed with the fearful combo of Confusion and Future Sight. One of them also knows uproar too. OH NOES!
