Well, on my Amphy, I ran
Discharge
T-Wave
Power Gem
Signal Beam
and I think I gave it Wise Glasses
This is my planned team to use for B2/W2 this October:
Samurott (Torrent) – Rain Dance, Surf, Waterfall, 4th move undecided
Lucario – Force Palm/Close Combat, Swords Dance, Ice Punch, Bone Rush/Earthquake
Espeon (Synchronize) – Psybeam/Psychic, Shadow Ball, Calm Mind, 4th move undecided
Arcanine – Flare Blitz/Heat Wave, Extreme Speed, 3rd move undecided, 4th move undecided
Flygon (Levitate) – Earthquake/Dig, Stone Edge, Outrage, Iron Tail
Galvantula – Giga Drain, Signal Beam, Thunder Wave, Electro Ball
Seviper (Shed Skin) – Toxic, Venoshock, Giga Drain, Dark Pulse
Skarmory (Sturdy) – Fly, Steel Wing, Rock Slide, Swords Dance/Roost
Beartic (Swift Swim) – Icicle Crash, Super Power, Dive, Swords Dance
HM Slave: Watchog - Cut and Strength (Will not train past Lv. 20)
You probably noticed that there are ten pokemon instead of six. I'm probably going to rotate them in and out of my team when needed and will make up for the slight difficulty of getting under leveled by using a Lucky Egg/Exp. Share. I haven't quite decided on a few moves, but other than that, it's pretty complete. I put the abilities next to the pokemon (the abilities that I'm sure of) Any opinions or suggestions?

I would suggest a Psychic type probably. And it would need a ghost type move like shadowball because your team has 3 weaknesses to psychic. Here's a team builder to make it easier: Pokemon.Marriland.com - Diamond / Pearl Team Builder
Eh...this is Gen I, there are only 3 Ghost-Types (Gastly, Haunter, Gengar) and two damaging Ghost type moves and that's Night Shade and Lick, so no Shadow Ball. Just sayin'.
You do lack something to Fly on. You could go get a Pidgeot or a Fearow, or wait until you can get Aerodactyl at Cinnabar. Or get a Psychic type. Both Kadabra/Alakazam and Hypno are very good in Gen I.
Here's my team on HeartGold - I'm just before the Victory Road. Feel free to rate it if you want.

Im now beating Pokemon Platinum, didnt loose a fight before Elite Four, but then the fist Bug Type guy screwed me twice, so Im in trouble :)

Does your Scyther have Technician or Swarm?
I'd recommend getting rid of Infernape's HM moves and teaching it something like Fire Punch / Close Combat / Rock Slide / Thunder Punch. Personally I would do something similar with Machamp, just for the sake of coverage (Cross Chop / Rock Slide / Ice Punch Thunder Punch) but to be honest you've already got a Fighting-type there that (in my opinion) far outclasses Machamp, your Infernape.
With Fire Punch and Rock Slide alone, Infernape can handle Aaron's team almost single-handedly. The only threat would be Drapion, with Drapion's only weakness being Ground-type.
I'd recommend training up a Water-type Pokémon for Bertha, one that can use Ice Beam. A fast Water-type with Ice Beam could sweep her whole team aside from Whishcash, and a quick Grass-type attack (teach your Giratina Energy Ball for that, problem solved) will put an end to Wishcash.
Flint, again, sweept by a fast enough Water-type and a little help from Infernape's Rock-type moves.
Lucian's team you will simply tear right through. Alakazam's Shadow Ball will be useful, and Scyther's X-Scissor and Night Slash (use Night Slash on Lucian's Gallade and it'll drop like a sack of bricks.) will smash through his team. And, of course, you have your Giratina there. The real issue is his Bronzong. To be absolutely honest with you, I would just use Giratina's Earth Power and hammer Bronzong until it drops.
Cynthia won't be a problem for you really, either, if you choose your moves right and get an Ice Beam in at her Garchomp. I'd say ditch Machamp, get yourself a solid Water Pokémon and give it Ice Beam (Golduck or Tentacruel for example). And sling that Electabuzz back into your team for good measure. :P
All you need are shards for the Punch moves (which are all over the place in Platinum, as well as fairly commonly dug up in the Underground). Click here for the location of the move tutor and how many of each shard you'll need for each move. You'll also need TM80 (Rock Slide), TM13 (Ice Beam) and TM53 (Energy Ball) if you plan to go with my suggestions. Click each TM for their locations.
I hope this is helpful, and good luck, future Sinnoh Champion!
