Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
I would personally stick with Flaffy, and never evolve it into an Ampharos, because sheep are awesome
In all honesty though, Ampharos will be fine throughout the game. I've never personally had an issue with it. Eelektross is debatably better, but the main thing is that you get Eelektross much later in the game. Really personal preference here.
For water types, I would recommend Lapras and Starmie. Starmie will hit hard with a very diverse movepool, but Lapras can act as a physical or special attacker, and has some nice support moves as well. It would really depend on your playstyle; if you want something that's going to hit hard and fast, choose Starmie. If you want something that's maybe a little more bulky and technical, choose Lapras.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.

I'm currently on Victory Road. I plan to stick around for a bit and level them up to 60 before I challenge the E4. Any suggestions?
Also, I have this on reserve:

Mild

>Dragon Rush
>Dragon Pulse
>Work Up
I might box the Emboar for her, probably when she's at 50 and evolved.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Legendaries can be trained properly. As far as I know, as long as you get in all the EVs, it doesn't matter if it was level 99 or level 1 when you caught it.

Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
My current team in White 2... I'm just about to go to Opelucid City for my seventh badge. I'm very happy with it so far. I'm more or less just using my favourites. Ferrothorn is amazing. Any suggestions are welcome, but the only Pokémon I'd consider changing would be Carracosta and Archeops. If I beat the League with these six, I'm going to get to work on training up a load of other Pokémon and put them into rotation for the Pokémon World Tournament.
Flygon ♂ Lv. 46
Ability: Levitate, Nature: Adamant, Item: Dragon Fang
Moveset: Earthquake / Dragon Tail / Rock Slide / Fly
Planned: Earthquake / Dragon Claw / Fire Punch / Thunderpunch

Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
Since I did a blind nuzlocke on Black 2 (and succeeded), I've been wanting to restart my game and go through with the planned final team below. Any suggestions?
Serperior
- Coil, Leaf Blade, Aerial Ace, Dragon Tail/Dragon Pulse/Outrage
Krookodile
- Crunch, Outrage, Stone Edge, Earthquake
Lucario/Sawk (w/ Sturdy)
- Calm Mind, Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball/Psychic (Lucario)
- Brick Break, Close Combat, Strength/Poison Jab, Stone Edge (Sawk)
Archeops
- Stone Edge, Acrobatics/Fly, Earthquake, Outrage/Dragon Claw
Volcarona/Arcanine
- Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz, Heat Wave/Fire Blast, ? (Volcarona)
- Flare Blitz, Outrage, Crunch, ExtremeSpeed (Arcanine)
Lapras/Walrein (w/ Thick Fat)
- Ice Beam, Surf/Hydro Pump, Perish Song, Bulldoze/Waterfall (Lapras)
- Ice Beam, Surf, Crunch, Bulldoze/Earthquake, Body Slam (Walrein)
I really don't know who to pick for the last slot. I love both Lapras and Walrein, they've saved my butt more times then I care to count, but I can only have one. The same goes for Volcarona and Arcanine.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
My team is
Houndoom
Zoroark
Sigilyph

I plan on adding Dratini to this lineup.
Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
This is the team I am going to use in Black 2. Suggestions welcome. :) Also note that this is just the planning. I got most of the Pokemon I am going to trade to my Black 2.

Re: TAKE NOTE: All in-game teams go here.
I'm nearing the Elite 4 in Platinum. But before I face them, I want move suggestions for two of my team members:
Empoleon
- Male, level 63
- Mild nature (Strong willed)
- Move Set: Drill Peck, Shadow Claw, Surf, Metal Claw
Is it a good idea to teach Empoleon Ice Beam and Flash Cannon? If so, which moves should I delete?
Gliscor
- Male, level 63
- Hardy nature (Likes to run)
- Move Set: Swords Dance, Fire Fang, Earthquake, X-Scissor
Gliscor hits like a hurricane after a Swords Dance boost, but should I ditch Fire Fang for one of the other two elemental fangs? I only stuck Fire Fang on there since I don't have a fire type on my team...
For those who might wonder, the rest of my team is Staraptor, Roserade, Honchkrow, and Luxray.

It's a great idea to teach Empoleon Ice Beam and Flash Cannon, I'd recommend ditching Metal Claw and Shadow Claw. My Empoleon had Surf, Flash Cannon, Ice Beam and Earthquake, but Drill Peck is just as useful.
If you're going to replace Fire Fang, my advice is replace it with Stone Edge!
