The In-Game Team Review Thread

quick question. a slightly competitive PBR team for Colosseum research counts as in-game right?

if it does then here:

so i'm making a team for PBR (that counts as a in-game team right?) i'm mostly using it to get info for the PBR walkthrough and articles on bulbapedia, but i want to see how far i can get without throwing Gator or Burner in their, so i want to make the team decent. so far i have :

something that lowers speed (i haven't actually breed/caught these yet)

(This is the only guy who doesn't have to keep a move on his set, as he's just gonna be used to KO things once i steal their item and copy their moves. i am very flexible with his set, but would like to keep EQ. if i don't get Oblivious, i'm going to keep breeding till i do, as i don't plan on having snow on this team.)

Zekrom should get more phyical oriented moves, so I recomend that you get rid of Dragon Breath and Thunderbolt

Rotom looks good. By the way, what fourm is it?

In my opinion, I say Darkrai should have Dream Eater and Dark Pulse instead of Shadow Ball and Faint Attack.

I hear that moves like Frenzey Plant suck, but I dissagree. Anyway, it looks good.

If you Google *Insert Pokemon Here* Sprites, there is this site called PLDH.net, and it usually shows up as one of the first ones. Click on the sprite you want to use, copy the one thats next to the thing that says BBCode, or has [img] in the thing, and paste it here and...

hmmm... most of them look good, but I recommend that you teach serperior frenzy plant,get rid of empoleon's hydro pump/cannon and replace it with fly,freeing up a space for salamence to learn crunch. also, switch salamence with golurk to make zoroark's illusion to be golurk's.

Hey guys, it's been a year or two since I came here and I was looking for a team building thread, but this'll do.

I've restarted all my Pokemon game files and want to start from the beginning again. I want to catch them all, but have as many unique teams as possible while doing so. However, I've made some rules for myself: all teams must be within the same generation, meaning I can't have a Golem in my Diamond play through.

Do you guys think you can help? I'm not a competitive online player or breeding master of some sort (but I'm learning!) - I just want to beat the game with different teams every time while collecting all the Pokemon.

Edit: Sorry about that, I don't know what happened to the rest of my post. Basically, I just want hear suggestions for same-generation teams, surely I'm not the only one who's done this!
